Sun Wing Supermarket in Katy is hands down one of the top supermarkets in town, especially when it comes to seafood. Their stone crab is an absolute steal at $3.99 a pound. Believe me when I say, the crab is incredibly fresh and generously sized. When steamed, it bursts with sweetness and that unmistakable taste of the ocean. One crab is so substantial that it's a challenge for all of us to finish just one. And let's not forget about the other seafood prices, which are equally impressive. Not only is the pricing affordable, but the freshness of the seafood is unparalleled.Beyond their seafood selection, Sun Wing Supermarket excels in organization, cleanliness, and spaciousness. Shopping there is a breeze, with different categories neatly arranged for convenience. But what truly sets them apart is their unbeatable prices, especially for stone crab. I wouldn't hesitate to return time and time again for such a steal. Bravo to Sun Wing Supermarket for delivering exceptional quality at such affordable prices.

Relatively small to medium size Chinese Supermarket. Not the same size as a typical H-Mart or 99 Ranch, or even Hong Kong City Mall or Viet Hoa but it does offer mostly the same things you’d be looking for. For the handful of times that we’ve been here, it’s been pretty much empty, so that’s always a bonus when you just want to run in and grab your things and go in a hurry. Plenty of parking of course, because of what has been stated about it being not crowded or busy, ever. Overall, not too shabby.

I visited Sun Wing Katy, today for the first time. I've been meaning to go ever since they opened near me. I just ran in to see what they had and purchased some fresh herbs at a very reasonable price. I also bought some large bottles of sauces for about the price I would have paid for a tiny bottle in one of the area supermarkets. I'm not much of a seafood fan so the fish smell was a little strong for me. But the store wasn't very busy, so I was able to run in, get my items, and be out of the store in a jiffy. I'll be back to get some more bargains.

Good Asian grocery store with variety of foods and produce. After multiple times this location gone out of business due to slow and hard times, etc…we really want to support this new owner, however on multiple occasions, we have witnessed this Chinese man working in their seafood department yelling and screaming loudly in Chinese language at customers of different nationalities and colors who are simply there there to support and make purchases and keeping their business alive. This is very unfortunate and disturbing for customers because we have introduced numerous families and friends to this store. If management does not address this unacceptable behavior, Katy Supermarket will be another casualty of business closure as customers will be taking their business and hard earned money somewhere else.

I was looking for a good Asian grocery store besides H-Mart. I randomly came across Sun Wing Katy Supermarket. It is a very well organized neat and clean Supermarket. The best thing I like about it is that they have labeled almost every item in English as well. Not only that, most of their items, if not all, have ingredients listed in English which was super helpful. I found their prices to be very reasonable. They have a great variety of seafood. Some people mentioned in their review that they were welcomed by a bad smell as soon as they entered the store. However, when I went there, even their seafood department had no smell. This is my new go-to place for Asian grocery.

First and last time I will be visiting this place. I went in trying to buy some kimchi and not a single person acknowledged or tried to help me after going down the same 3 rows for 15 minutes. There were a group of employees that sat by the coolers and were talking to each other. I walked up asking for help and then they just scattered and didn’t acknowledge me. I then found a worker in one of the rows and asked for help and he said he didn’t speak English and walked away. I Literally walked out of the store without buying anything because I felt so embarrassed. Not one person in the store seemed friendly or interested in helping.
