The clerk was upset because I declined to bring some flowers that I ultimately preferred to look for and then made a face when I asked if I could leave them on the counter. Then she questioned me if I was going to bring threads because they were very expensive... please! More seriousness and gentleness! You don't know your customers' pockets! ?

Probably the worst experience I’ve had a store in awhile. Cashier had more than 7 people waiting in line and never called for more assistance to help speed up the checkout process. She was incapable of accepting cash returns without someone else going to provide the key for the register - weird? Because of this I was physically unable to pay for my order in cash I was told. And, when a previous customer was doing a cash return the manager came up to the front with the register key, saw the extremely long line, and did absolutely nothing about it. He opened the register and walked away. The entire staff seems to lack urgency and a sense of customer service. Very disappointing and I definitely will not be back.

On May 28, I came for the first time in my life to buy taan to sew myself a duvet cover. Not only that in Google maps the store is open until 9 pm, but at 8 pm they reported that it closes at 8:30, I began to rush, found the fabric I needed, but I needed more time to calculate what size fabric I needed. I contacted the sales consultant and said that this was my first time buying fabric and I didn’t know how to calculate the size correctly, I said that the fabric was the size of a queen size blanket. The seller herself calculated how much fabric I needed. measured me 2 separate pieces for the amount of $72. I was looking forward to starting my project with great enthusiasm this evening. and what a disappointment I was that the sizes they cut me off didn’t suit me at all! even if I connect these pieces sideways, in this case there is not enough length! If I sew one after another, then the width! I spent $72 on completely useless fabric! but I, as a client, specifically asked for the help of a consultant! terribly disappointed. my first experience and it’s so negative, I’m terribly upset and I’m sorry for wasting both time and money

The store was closing in 30 minutes…. We are checking out, one of the cashiers was flustered, rude, dismissive and rushing us to hurry up. Refused to wait for me to pull up my coupon. Yelling at people as they came in that they only had 20 minutes!!!! It caused an unnecessary panic and pressure on all that were checking out and shopping.

I hate when their business hours say they close at 6 but they’re kicking you out of the store & announcing they close at 5:30 make it make sense? I’m relying on the business hours saying they close at 6 why are you kicking me out at 5:30? If that’s the case then change your business hours before I make a fool of myself rushing to buy stuff or showing up at 5ish telling me you’re closing soon?

I have been shopping there since Joanns was located in a different location on Fry road. Absolute love this fabric store. The best are the people that work there. Just recently I witnessed a customer going Karen on one of the employees . She was way out of line and they just took it. Don't know how they put up with some people. Great place to shop for crafts. Wonderful choices. Great values! Employees are aways helpful.

We all love, JoAnn fabrics, right? I mean over the decades I've gone there and shopped and purchase a number of items things for various seasons, fabrics, notions, jewelry, Christmas items. The list goes on and on. I loved JoAnn Fabrics. I got a Christmas present of a Ottlite floor lamp light for sewing and crafting. I just got around to opening up the box today January 6, 2024, and the joints in the pole were stripped out and the top unit of the floor lamp that houses the light would not hold together. So I packed it back up and returned it to JoAnn fabrics with the receipt. The sales help and the manager refused to give me a refund. "Our policy is not to accept returns from items that have cords." I explained their floor lamp was defective when I purchased it. The manager and the sales person both said, "It doesn't matter. We will not take it back." I told both of them that I should have been informed of this policy at the time of purchase There was no signage of this policy. I had not been informed. She said I don't "have control over what corporate does." I told her this was not acceptable. She then offered to take it back and charge me a $25.00 restocking fee. I was completely shocked. I went home and checked their website for returns. If I had ordered this specific lamp online their policy would have been different. Here is that online return policy: "We want you to be completely satisfied, so we are happy to accept returns for most online purchases in-stores for free or by mail, minus a $7.95 shipping and handling fee. Sewing Machines (all brands) & Cricut(R) Machines require a $25 restocking fee if returned by the customer." My advice? NEVER BUY ANYTHING WITH A CORD (electric or electronics) FROM JOANN FABRICS. . . . . . Because if the box has been opened, they will not allow you to return it. Even though they sold it to you broken. JoAnn Fabrics, you must make it known at the time of sale this no return policy. You have lost my loyalty.

I shopped at this location for years at its near my house but i will never be shopping here again!! There this one employee who was extremely rude. I have seen her being rude to a lot of other customers too. She talks like she owns the place and shows no respect at all.

2 weeks before Christmas and out of stock on Christmas yarn??? The line was beyond the queue and there was 2 cashier's and then one walked away and there was only one! I asked for another cashier and was told she had to do online orders. Really?! People that drive 30 minutes to go to your store are not as important as lazy online shoppers?! You've lost a loyal shopper, I'll just go online somewhere else.
