Before I made an appointment I went to this location and gave the front desk my insurance card and asked if they were in network and to verify my coverage. I was told no charge for routine exam, so I decided to make an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I was told there was a $1600 deductible and until that was met, everything would be out of pocket. Before this date, I received multiple emails and texts reminding me of the appointment and not once was mentioned that I was basically not covered. Waited until I arrived to inform.
However I felt the information was wrong so I called my insurance and verified that in fact there was no charge for routine exams. I informed the lady at front desk of this and told her my insurance said the could call and verify, she instead told the assistant “just see her, if she gets a bill, then” I told her , that’s not right, I want you gouts to call and verify my coverage and make sure you have the correct information, and she got defensive and said ma’am I am trying to help, but really help would have been letting me know of the coverage before my arrival, or just calling the insurance again and confirm what I was telling her. At this point I just told her never mind, I will go somewhere else. Felt she did not care about me as a patient and was not wanting to help. Very disappointed with the front office customer service.
Dr saw my daughter and was great, which is what prompted me to make my appointment in the first place, however I will not be returning after such a bad experience

They treated me incredibly, they accepted my frame and I was able to get my glasses made, the only place in Houston that knows how to handle smart glasses and I am truly grateful to Yamileth and Mr. Gabriel Salazar, God bless them.

Amazing service hands down! I am very satisfied as a customer. The ladies are beyond helpful and so inviting. Dr. Tran takes his time to make sure you are able to see ama feel comfortable in your eyewear or contacts. My son and I love this place. Can’t wait for my husbands appointment.

Dr. Lee and Dr. Tran are amazing. Very attentive to my needs, no matter how vain they can be lol. The front staff is also professional, courteous and flat out nice.

Ordered frames for the same prescription I've had for several years (Rx was updated in March). Ordered the frames and lenses from my eyedr.
1. Initial measurements were sloppily taken. But I relented.
2. Frames arrived 4 weeks later and Rx was incorrect. My vision was blurry and made me dizzy. Manager offered to retake three measurements and found the initial measurements were inaccurate.
3. Upon reorder the lenses again arrived 3.5 weeks later and the employee acted as if she couldn't locate me in the system. Found my record and retrieved the lenses.
4. Lenses were still wrong. Better but still wrong.
5. Asked for a refund. Easiest and best part of the whole transaction with this location. Sole reason for 2 stars.

The appointment was fine however, my contacts has been on backorder for the past few months good thing I don't wear contacts that often. Although, I did pay almost $300 for them. Supervisor was supposed to contact me in regard to the situation still haven't heard anything from anyone and now I have to file a claim with my bank.

The staff at the Katy location is amazing. They provided me and my 7 year old son with such great customer service. I'm beyond thankful for Gabriel, the general manager, who assisted me with insurance matters. Thank you!

Our family has been customers of this business several years before this location was acquired by MyEyeDr. We sticked with it because of the excellent services until the latest experience make me think it's time to change. The order takes longer than they promised. I had eye exam and made lenses order in Grand Parkway office. My lenses took three weeks until I called them asked what was wrong with my order. It turned out my lenses was delivered to the Grand Parkway office several days ago when I called them. I was told to go to South Katy office for lenses cutting at appointment time (I assumed). I got there 5 minutes late and being told my lenses hadn't sent to the South Katy office yet. They don't take responsibility. I finally got my lenses cut at South Katy office. They handed me glasses with unknown marks on both lenses. I found it immediately when I stepped out the office door. I show the receptionist several times even took a video to display what's exactly it is. But he kept saying he couldn't see what I saw. I guess he lied because he didn't want to admit it as I suspected the lenses had problem. It turned out that lenses was not cleaned after cut, so it had some residue from cutting. Even though uncleaned lenses after cut has never happened before, I understand it happens. What pissed me off mostly was the altitude of the receptionist. I'll keep away from MyEyeDr, no matter how many offices they open around.

Yami was amazing and listened to my problem with my new glasses, and didn't just tell me I needed to get used to them! Turns out my lenses were switched! Saved me another appointment! She is the best!

I was a regular customer, the manager's service is horrible, she shamelessly lied to me, she told me that the glasses were correct and it was not true. It made me lose a month, I went back to pick them up but they were also wrong, the doctor checked them because I asked him to and the problem was that they put both lenses on the same eye, Wow, your manager is unprofessional.

This location is my favorite! Both doctors are knowledgeable and great with kids as well. Yami is the most patient person ever! She takes her time while waiting for us to choose our just right frames and always with a smile!

Time and time again this location has not done what they advised me would get done. I was advised to get anti- reflective coating for my daughters glasses, and it was not the fight fit for her. No big deal. We go in to order new glasses, the original order we received also had the incorrect color lenses. I stopped by to get a new pair and the representative stated she would reorder . I called - mind you it’s been a month too. The order was never placed. It’s now April 29th and my child finally received her correct glasses after her first appt which was in Feb. Please do better with communication, and handling business.

First and last visit I’ll ever schedule with this location. Very unprofessional. Always missing information, which was filled out. Constant revisits because they can’t seem to get the correct prescription… but what’s the eye exam for? Never again. Been getting eye exams since a child and never had these issues before.
