Everything is ridiculously expensive, although the products are not any better quality than your typical dollar store in America and they don’t accept refunds or returns which is wrong because I bought a glass jar from here and immediately it broke. I didn’t bang it up on anything. it just broke like that and of course they won’t accept a return, but it is their faulty products that are horrible. Also, all the prices here are extremely expensive. It’s not a dollar store at all. Everything is very expensive. You’re paying overpriced for junk.

I like the store and the merchandise but now, because of the tariffs (I guess) they decided to raise the base price from $1.75 to $2.25. Really? Is that how much a tariff raises the price of each item? No, I don't think so. Tariff's on Japanese household items ranges from 3% to 6% so the most the base price should have gone up due to tariffs is $1.86. I'll return after they make a trade deal with the US.

I love Daiso, and this store is no exception. You can find inexpensive dollar store items here not found in normal dollsr stores.
The Asian style and cultural items are excellent and sometimes fit what I need or can use. One of my favorite purchases is laundry bags. I have been using Daiso's for years!

I have never had a poor experience at Daiso until now. The cashier wearing a mask with colored hair has such an attitude problem. If making the customer feel stupid is her job, then she’s doing a very good job at it!
I hadn’t realized that the fake flowers were sold separately since they have them rubber banded together, and instead of explaining it to me like a normal person, she told me, “You realize these are $1.75 each, right?” with a MASSIVE attitude. Like yes, it’s my mistake for not realizing it, but there is a much nicer way to say this to someone. Also, when an item rang up as $1.85 instead of $1.75, she did the exact same thing. The entire time, she treated me as if I could not afford an item that was $1.85 and like I was stupid.
If you don’t know how to speak to customers, you shouldn’t be on register and at the front end of the store.
