As a loyal Chase customer for nearly 15 years, with experience across multiple branches in various cities throughout the United States, I regret to say that the service I received at the this branch, was one of the worst I've encountered. My usual banking spot is the Cinco Ranch branch, located adjacent to Target, where the staff consistently demonstrate professionalism, extensive knowledge, and a commendable commitment to customer satisfaction. However, my recent visit to this branch left much to be desired.Last September, I approached this location to open my second credit card. Despite successfully applying for a business card using my personal SSN at other Chase branches and even other banks like Amex and US Bank, I was met with resistance from a manager named Thai TRAN. His demeanor was unprofessional, and he outright stated that an EIN was required for the application. Despite my insistence that it was possible, he begrudgingly processed my application, claiming it was approved (BTW, when I went through the previous Google reviews, I noticed that others claim about him)Months later, when I realized I hadn't received my physical card, I contacted Chase customer service, only to discover that my application had been denied. This inconsistency and lack of follow-up were not only frustrating but also reflective of a deeper issue with accountability and communication within the branch.Recently, I submitted another application for the same credit card online and decided to visit the branch to inquire about its status while it was under review. To my dismay, I was again directed to Mr. TRAN. His attitude remained uncooperative and abrasive, mirroring the same unprofessional behavior as before. Furthermore, he mentioned that Chase had sent correspondence to my address in Austin, requesting additional documentation, which I never received. Despite updating my address to Houston in my Chase accounts, Mr. TRAN failed to recognize this discrepancy.Frustrated by Mr. TRAN's lack of professionalism and the overall lack of assistance, I reported the matter to the branch manager, Ms. MONTES, who initially assured me of follow-up. However, despite promising a callback, I received no communication from her or the branch. This experience not only reflects poorly on the individual professionalism of Mr. TRAN but also sheds light on systemic issues within this branch. The level of customer service and attention to detail was far below the standards I've come to expect from Chase Bank.Given this disappointing experience, I strongly advise residents near Katy to avoid this branch and opt for the Cinco Ranch location, where customer service is consistently exceptional.Chase Bank prides itself on its commitment to customer satisfaction, but my recent encounters at this branch have left me deeply disappointed and frustrated.

I had the pleasure of receiving exceptional service from Ms. Dan, a Vietnamese girl at Chase Bank. Her energy was truly amazing, coupled with excellent service, respect, maturity, and intelligence. During my visit to pay the last installment on my stolen car, she made the experience not only smooth but genuinely enjoyable. Ms. Dan's remarkable qualities set a standard for outstanding customer service. Keep that incredible energy – it's sure to propel you to even greater heights. Thank you for the exceptional service! - Manny Kourradi

Terrible walk in service. It’s the third time I visit this branch and they send me back to make an appointment. If the bank is only going to take appointments they should mention it up front. I used to walk into this branch and get great service, it’s really a shame.

Some banker/agents, exp. Mr. Tran, who work there are not friendly or serious when customer discussed questions with them. Instead they are chatting together and ignored the customer or simply rejected customer's request with some excuses.

Not a very helpful branch. They insist on coming with an appointment for things that would take 5-10 mins. Customer should be first priority rather than their own internal discussion.

The Teller was nice, but couldn't help us. We had any appointment, but our time to be seen came and went without anybody helping. Don't use this bank. They are a waste of time and space.

Great service. Fast and easier than to call the main line or do it online. Thanks so much!

Banker kept pushing a checking account I wasn’t interested in. Had had no clue about the account I was asking information about and gave me bad info multiple times. I’m going to the spring green location instead.

I came in for what should have taken 5 minutes, if that. I was told by the bank teller that I could not handle my issue at the window because she was the only teller present. Meanwhile, I was on the phone with Chase and they said any personal banker present could handle the issue. I needed a form printed that Chase wanted to email directly to someone at the branch so I could sign it in person. I was directed to the seats where I sat, to no avail. Not one person approached me to ask me what I needed help with, including the branch manager who had no one in his office. There was an employee towards the back and he had no one in his office either. There was another banker who had someone in her office and could not assist. I approached the teller again, who was very unprofessional and said this will not take long, I need to be helped. The bank teller had the capacity to assist but refused to and got an “attitude” when I asked her a second time to assist ,me since there was no one in line or at her window. I decided it would be best to leave to find another Chase Branch. I will not be returning to this location. I see why they have been rated low. This branch is unhelpful, unprofessional, lackadaisical and not worthy of my business. I have had an account with Chase for over 20 years and I am more than disappointed with the service I received today. Find another branch to visit if you need assistance outside of an ATM!
