I wrote an honest review of this place and posted it to various PUBLIC platforms. I was subsequently sent a cease and desist from the owner who paid a lawyer to send the letter to my job (as a form of intimidation) and to my email. Never to my home by the way. This was in June of 2022. I deleted my review but not before taking a picture of it. See attached. I have also attached the first page of the cease and desist letter (I have redacted the names). If you have a negative review of this school, be careful to voice it. The owner of this school will hire a lawyer to threaten you with a lawsuit. The most interesting part of this is: Why was it that I was singled out for my review and threated with a lawsuit? Has this happened to other people? Other reviewers with negative experiences who have expressed them such as the reviewer beneath me did not get threatened with a lawsuit; how come? If you are considering this school read my initial review, I hope it helps. If you are considering writing an unfavorable review of this business. Procced with caution. You could receive a cease and desist as I did for expressing your freedom. To be very very clear the letter attached from the lawyer implying I'm personally attacking the woman who owns this school. I HAVE NEVER MET NOR SEEN HER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Nor have I spoken about her to people, nor have I wrote about her etc etc. I wrote the review I attached and THAT IS IT. The letter sent to my job and to my email was simply and purely constructed to INITMIDATE me because I wrote the attached review which is MY FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Hope this helps a parent.

Very disappointed with the British Private Prep School. I really regret sending both of my kids and I wanted to aware other people who potentially may choosing this school for their kids. They need to hire teacher aide if the classroom teacher is not able to handle 15 kids at once. When the teacher is not able to handle all students, there is high chance you will see kids act out or do things while teacher is not watching. I was told they were going to separate both of my kids to different classes, but when I pick them up both kids are always together which does not make sense. I also observed while picking up the kids most of the time teachers are on the phone instead of watching the kids. I had issue understanding one of the teachers because she struggles with English. So, if I had issues understanding the teacher what makes you think the kids understood her while being in class. One day the principal of the school called me to complain about one of my kid and while speaking to me on what happen she apparently was laughing and thought it was funny instead of finding ways to resolve the issue or concern. Again, this school is not professional and not a great school for toddlers. Previously, never had issues at other schools and was very surprise with all the complains I received from this school. I am glad both of my kids are in a better school (been two weeks in new school) and I had NO complaints from the teacher due to having more teacher and aide in class. Please do check other schools around the area before sending you kids here. One mistake I did and learn from it. I rather drive extra 10 mins instead of sending my kids here.

We are very happy with British Private Prep. My daughter who is barely 21 months started here two months ago and she absolutely loves it. She was a COVID baby and was super shy around strangers but she has come such a long way since she started school. She is talking a lot more and knows all her colors, numbers, and alphabet. She also loves her teachers and classmates.

Not the best daycare for small children. I wouldn't recommend to parents. The director has poor people skills and young children need better treatment. The director no stop if she targets a child she will constantly try to make your life miserable as much as your child is feeling when you leave her there. "I'm not happy with you" was a non stop daily routine she would be telling children to make them feel insecure. It's amazing how leaving there made a huge difference on my child and my life. The negative environment at this daycare was a horrific experience. Once I left with my child we never once had any issues with the new daycare. We love the new daycare they are a professionally trained staff and amazing! Listen to your child if the child is treated unfairly never think it is your child realise that the issue may be the result of bad staff. This daycare some of the staff is odd in mannerisms after leaving I saw how strange it was constantly being treated like something was always wrong with my child. She was two then and I find it crazy how even at such young age my child never had a problem anywhere but at British prep. It wasn't the "strict structure" it was some of the staff that was the issue. Please check carefully if for some strange reason they instill complaints about your child. Leave! Listen to your child and if you see your child is singled out and always put away in a corner area from all the other children in her class. Leave! They even daily complained she wouldn't take a nap and singled her out. The funny part is the first day at the new daycare she slept like a baby. She never had one issue taking naps. She felt she was safe and could relax I guess since the new daycare has a loving environment she felt very secure. That fact speaks volumes. As a parent I wish you the best finding a great daycare it makes a huge impact on a childs life. Gives you peace of mind.

I don't have enough words to describe how much I love this school. From the ladies at the front desk welcoming us every day to the teachers who take care of my almost 2 year old as if he were their own, (did I mention 2 year old? praying daily for these ladies!!

We adore this school! We attend the Cinco Terrace location- my twins have attended and my 2 year old attends currently. We love the facility and the staff and the teachers- my two-year-old eagerly runs to his classroom ready to start the day with Ms. Filipi. He is always so excited to see his favorite pal, Ms. Martin.

The best school in Katy for your children. Ms. Martin and Mrs. Weller are as top notch as you can get. They are professional, kind, loving, safety first, calm, and address any and all concerns with open arms. They treat my kids and the rest of the kids as they were their own. I can't say enough kind things about this school and their leadership. They are what makes this location the best and make the Goddard and Primrose schools look mediocre at best. We drive 15 miles every morning and afternoon so our kids can go to this location. It's a no brainer.
