Damaged furniture, lost items, damage to walls. Moved from a downstairs apartment to another downstairs apartment within the same apartment complex. Really pitiful movers. Would not recommend.

BEWARE: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. One star is more than they deserve. Movers arrived and called the manager when I inquired about the truck, note that they never came inside or saw my items. The manager Vincent called me and arrogantly spoke down to me about the situation. It was then I found out that not one of the movers spoke English therefore they did not understand what I was asking. Vincent refused to send a English speaking employee to the location and told me that his phone instructions are sufficient. I ran them off and called another moving company. They have poor customer service. And their movers appear to be from the home depot parking lot. Do not use them

The company broke most of my belongings and then never called me to set up the claim. Rude upon arrival. And they didn't finish the job. Worst experience. Would honestly rate 0/5.

Broke all the glass shelves to my grandmother's China cabinet today. Also, don't ask these guys to move a piano.If there's a resolution to the broken items, I'll update here.

Currently moving from an apartment to a house and I must say this is the most STRESSFUL situation and company that I have ever made a contract with. Extremely disappointed in your crew and service. I have extremely valuable furniture and delicate pieces and nothing was wrapped. Bare tape placed on my items and kids toys that will most likely cause the paint to peel and lift. I specified to the company I had a large expensive mirror and they didn’t even bother to wrap it. Fragile boxes being thrown and smashed one on top of the other. Explain to me how this is a stress free move ??

I had the move reserved 3 weeks in advance and paid the $50 deposit to reserve the move. When I booked the move the guy that was assisting me asked me what time window would I prefer I said preferably mornings but I also let him know could he make a note that I had to get my keys from my new apartment at 9:30am! Anyone that have lived in an apartment before know they don’t release your keys until the day of your move. The day of my move the movers which was (two guys) got out the truck and knocked on my door at 8am saying I am here for your move while I was on the phone speaking with Shane and then victor who was also rude and hung up on my face to tell them that the movers showed up early even though I specified the time window and called and got the exact time I would prefer for them to come. He told me that he had already called the movers and let them know to come back at 10:30am however one of their men called me and told me he never got that message from his boss and he was told to come at 8am. The lack of communication and disrespect was very UNPROFESSIONAL. It was also pouring down raining today (10/09/20) so I had asked if they can move my move to Saturday or wait till it dies down he said that he had other moves booked and it was my fault, even though I cannot control that it is raining and it is an SAFETY PRECAUTION to have movers moving during pouring down rain. That’s crazy and unprofessional. The manager Mike got on the phone and was hugging and puffing when I was voicing my fustrarion and told me he didn’t know if he would be able to squeeze me in on Saturday because they already had 35 moves already scheduled, he hung up in my face and called my friend back looking for me hours later, I called him back and he said that “oh we canceled your move due to all of the issues we were having this morning with the mix up etc and refunded you your $50 deposit you paid” VERY unprofessional to just up and cancel on someone last minute the DAY OF actually. I ended up just calling another moving company who had room to move me same day and currently having a GREAT experience! But NEVER will I EVER deal with these RUDE people ever again!

Mike is seriously the best! I dropped the ball on one of my clients move today and called and explained the situation and he said "don't worry, we'll pick the ball back up" and had a move scheduled for my clients within the next few hours. He is an angel. Thank you soo much! :) 10/10 would recommend.

We used Ameritex today to move from our 3rd floor apt into a home. We were really skeptical which movers to go with, since we had some really expensive and fragile furniture. We could not be happier with Ameritex. They were fast, so efficient, and so patient. Juan, Jose, and David were exactly the kind of movers we wanted. They were super quick, but SO careful with our furniture. I did not have a single complaint. We will always use this company for future moves.

Worst moving experience I have ever been through. From the moment they walked through the door it was more of an inconvenience for them to do their job and asked a few times do they need to move everything? I had four guys moving and someone locked their keys in the car and took two of them away from moving to unlock their door. The one in charge asked for an iPhone charger and we didn't have one because obviously everything was packed and he rolled his eyes. The same guy asked if the AC was broken because it wasn't turned on I told him no but the doors would be opened the whole time no need to have it on. Should have checked the AC when we left because he turned it down to 45 degrees and it was on for 24 hours before we went back over and noticed. When it was time to pay they charged me for their lunch hour and was upset that he had to call his boss to correct it. After all of that he expects a tip and I was not given one they decided to leave all of their trash in my house and in my driveway. Don't waste your money going their it was too expensive and they claimed they got a few flea bites and had to have the truck fumigated, this was to avoid paying for my high AC bill I will now have to pay for!!!

We had a great experience with Ameritex Movers. Libby, Eric and Kathy, in the office, were pleasant and extremely helpful. The movers, Jairo and Rodolfo were amazing. We really enjoyed working with them on the moving day. They were efficient and careful with all of our belongings. Great team! We highly recommend Ameritex!
