I was excited to visit this place. The gentleman who begrudgingly assisted me seemed genuinely unhappy to be there. This place could be very cool, but seems to celebrate not helping customers enjoy their experience. Apparently you cannot have food inside, ok no big deal, but he was a jerk about it and upset that I would dare ask. I asked about WiFi, you know to knock out some work and was told "no, we don't do that here." Odd response in 2023 but ok. Then my friend tried to buy a cigar and there is a $10 credit card minimum. This is a house of dumb rules and seemingly trying to make the customer experience worse at every opportunity. Too bad, could be a cool pipe/cigar spot, but not why that angry rude gentleman is there.

Great place with a great selection. The owner is a good guy with a lot of knowledge. Both are one of the last bastions of what cigar shops and culture should be vis-a-vis a lot of places that have people who know little to nothing about either trying to sell you overpriced cigars and booze like used car salesmen.

I've been in here a few times as a novice and always shortly before they close for the night. The owner always answers my endless questions with thorough information and doesn't try to upsell me on products to make a buck. Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from, probably entitled people who expect fake niceties from everyone they talk to. Haven't used the lounge yet but I'll make some time for it

Owner can project a j*** vibe. I’m not sure this is intentional or unintentional. In my case it could be either. But this is immaterial to me. His selection is top notch and he knows his stuff on every question I’ve ever asked him. So that is all I really need in a local tobacco shop.
