“Suuuuuper random little taco spot. Located inside a rundown/closed gas station, this local taco delights come with homemade tortilla shells. I had one chorizo and egg taco and one Al Pastor Mexican style taco. A delight and recommend.”
“The market and its restrooms were very clean. The clerk was friendly. Easily accessible from the Interstate.They also have a small dog park! This little dog spot doesn't have much, but at least the pups can stretch their legs and empty their bladders. It's a patchy collection of weeds, clovers and grass. There are poo bags and trash bin. No water though.It is adjacent to a convenience store, so humans and vehicles can be tended to as well! It's located right of the Interstate. Easy in and out.”

“Did a >14,500 mls 3+ months road trip across the SW USA in 2017. (My experiences reflect this year and time and can be different now). Stopped at a motel in Junction, Texas, for 1 night and got to see this interesting place. Short Stop was only a 5 minute walk away from my motel (the entire town has, like, 1 light) and the staff in both the convenience store and the pizzeria are very friendly and outgoing. It helped that it was a Friday night (there a decent party atmosphere going on with all the guests coming through) and I hung out for almost 3 hours. You can get a good pizza, the drinks you need and sit down on comfortable benches in the restaurant area. Junction, TX is ideal for anyone doing a road or business trip, looking for a place to sleep, fill up your vehicle and get a bite to eat! I highly recommend Short Stop in Junction, TX. A place where Southern Hospitality meets convenience. A+”

“Just stopped for some bottle water and a couple of lottery tickets and the cashiers have always been very nice and friendly and they also serve a variety of good fresh foods.”
“This Timewise has a McDonalds. Since we were going hiking in Del Rio and had a long drive this was one of the first open places we came to. This McDonald's was very good. The people were friendly at the drive thru, the food was prepared quickly correctly and was served piping hot. some of the best coffee I have had in a while”

“Super convenient location for gas after driving in the middle of a desert! Bathrooms were very roomy but seems old and not very clean. Still essentials are there loaded with toilet paper and soap. The nice thing about this gas station is that they offer Tesla charging stations!”
