“Very good service by very good people. With regard to the negative reviews, I tell people that they are responsible for their own car.
The mechanic is not a magician. If you use cheap gas for your car all the time, the car will suffer. Take care of the car and it will take care of you. Keep a record of maintenance, how old the battery is, etc. Simple way to do this is to create an electronic folder under your Yahoo or Gmail acct and send yourself emails on the car noting date and mileage. Do this and your car will live! :)”

“Not the cheapest ship in town. Having said that, you get what you pay for. Staff was courteous, transparent, and professional. Shop was clean and so was our white car when we got it back. They also offer a shuttle service if you need a ride. I would definitely recommend and use again myself.”

“Absolutely thrilled with the service we received from Peacocks. After terrible service from another shop for weeks, we had our Mazda moved to Peacocks. After parts were located, they had us whole in 3-4 business days. Very fair, good communication, great service, and helpful. They were willing to help us on labor with us providing the parts, since some parts were on backorder until August. Just very happy with this local shop, in business on the Eastside of our hometown, Cleburne, for 40 plus years. Go see Brie. She's awesome. Jason is too. 25 plus years there.”

“Had some work done to my 2011 Mazda. Manuel transmission. Mark gave me an honest quote. Showed me the worn out parts when I picked up the car. Pricing was normal. I called a few other places and asked what they charge for the work that was done, and it was much higher. The turnaround time was great given the holidays. I will definitely recommend and go back again if needed.”

“I brought my 2013 VW Jetta TDI here to have some preventative maintenance done on it. I called and talked to the owner and got a day set up. Dropped it off on a Saturday afternoon, they started work on it Monday, and was ready to be picked up that same week. The timing belt was changed, had the suspension checked, and did the fuel filter while they were in there. The owner is straight forward and really helpful. When I asked him to add some cleaner to the fuel filter bowl, he even let me know where the car was at in the repair stage. I plan on bringing it back to him so i can have a tune done, along with all my other VW needs.”
