Pedernales Electric Cooperative provides electric service to its members. Office lobbies are open for self-service payments Monday through Friday, and members can make payments at the PEC Secure Pay Stations in office lobbies or at the 24/7 drive-thrus. In-person appointments may be scheduled by calling. The cooperative is noted for super customer service, with staff members described as kind and providing excellent service during power outages, working efficiently to fix issues. The holiday season is a highlight, as visiting the headquarters for the Christmas lights is considered a must-do family tradition for over 20 years. The holiday lights, including the spectacular tree wrapping on the great oaks, are amazing and beautiful to walk around. The display often includes food, drinks, and hay rides. The nearby Johnson City city hall and courthouse square are also decorated with lights, making it worth checking out. Some members have experienced long wait times or disconnections when calling the center.
Supervisor Jacob stopped by and gave me great advice on our backyard trees that need some work 👍

Visiting the coop headquarters during the holiday season is a must-do of our family for over 20 years. I was joking with Jackson Electric Coop that when their oak trees grow in their Edna HQ front yard that they can copy your tree wrapping. Your holiday lights, and also the courthouse square holiday lights, are spectacular.
