“I drive through Johnson City almost every day during the week, and have done so off and on during the years. I have stopped at every gas station in town at one time or another. I love stopping at this gas station in particular. (There have been a lot of changes in the past year from what I can gather.) The manager there is super nice, and does his best to welcome everyone who comes into the store. He always looks like he actually enjoys his job, which is refreshing. Other perks include: the bathrooms are well maintained, the gas pumps all work (I have yet to ever encounter an 'out of order' sign on a pump), they have window cleaning squeegees, and the store itself is clean, organized, and well stocked. The parking lot has ample room for parking yo go into the store, and for filling up on gas, (which some gas stations in the area don't have). It's not often you find a consistently well maintained gas station. Definitely would recommend.”
“Lovely little halfway spot on my commute from Kerrville to Austin each week. Restrooms are always clean and the lady behind the counter always friendly! I grab a drink and a treat and I'm on my way! Easy in and out!”

“I hate to admit it but I'm one of the biggest fans of Laredo Taco Company. Anytime there's a stripes close by I'll make sure and make sure I grab one of their barbacoa plates to go. Taco shells are always so thick and soft at the same time. The meat is always so freshly cooked perfectly seasoned and moist and tender. The onions and peppers are firm and moist at the same time and always perfectly cooked as well. The staff is very hard-working and helpful and it just kind of has a small town gas station feel when everybody can come in and get quality food. It's surprising how much food they can put out of such a small kitchen in the corner of a gas station but it just tells you the power of American ingenuity. These places are 10 times better than regular fast food joints and the employees always seem very hard working and happy to see you. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they will never disappoint!”

“I come here at night and love coming here. Even if I don't need anything if Rochelle is working I'll stop just to have a good conversation and I always end up spending money here. I wouldn't stop near as often as I do now. She shows me the same respect that I show her. I've only seen her get angry with people that show a lack of respect for her. She's an awesome person”

“We stopped in to use the restroom on our road trip. And this store looked (sketchy) in my daughter's words but I'm glad we stopped. It's also a bakery and the stuff that was made and sold there looks so beautiful and delicious. We are definitely gonna stop on the way home to buy some.”
