Its crap! The whole place genuinely sucks both to work at and to shop at. Half the time the dairy or meat is out of date or rotten. The managers dont give two craps about the actual workers and would throw them under a roaring bus to make themselves feel better.
It sucks and I seriously wouldnt shop or work there. It hasnt changed and probably never will

Store is unorganized and the manager let's people park in front of the front door blocking traffic in the parking lot.

By far the worst meat department I’ve ever seen. 85% of the meats had discolouration on them and not just grey there was greenish on a lot of it. I guess nobody buys it so it’s just sitting there rotting.

I'm so glad there are grocery stores within 10 miles of Joaquin. And thank goodness for the Dallor General and the Quick Stop. Because I have never been so disappointed in a brookshires store ever. They closed the cash office before 7pm at the gas station. So that way the can get that 3% extra. Literally one cashier , when there is 5 or more people wanting and needing to checkout. I have 3 items and have to wait for the 4 other customers who have full baskets. Like I said , complete dissatisfaction. I'll drive to Center , or go without before I spend another cent at this store.

Only grocery store near me unfortunately but the prices at this one are a little lower than other brookshires in the etx area.

Went on to grab snacks and supplies for dinner. The store was busy but not in a hectic way like, say a Wal-Mart. The aisles were clean and stocked appropriately, and when I was not able to locate an item instead of searching for help, a nice young man asked me if I needed help when he walked by. The checkout lines moved quickly, and the cashier was polite and personable. Overall it is a nice store with great staff.

For anyone that shops in the Brookshire brothers in Joaquin TX please check all expiration dates even dry goods. Also double check seals on bottles like mustard, ketchup, etc. Items are either opened and put back or expired.

The workers are so friendly and don't mind taking and showing people where things are and you're taking the groceries out to the cars and just really a lot of nice people out there. The stores always clean and bathrooms are always clean. Give them an A+
