We have a property nearby and after stopping at the Marina store and getting pizza, we sat in the car to watch the sunset. We have four kids, all of whom bring a friend when we come to the lake. We easily spend $100 everytime we go by there for lunch.
However, we were run off by owner demanding we pay $5/pp to watch the last few minutes of the sunset.
Was pretty disappointed. I hope your per person price tag was worth the $100s we'll never spend inside again.

Went to this local favorite to buy some snacks and watch the sunset and was run off by some lady claiming to be the owner and to be on her property we must each pay $5 dollars. We have purchased from this store almost every time we come to our lake house off LCR 896. We watched as she ran every soul of the property that hadn’t paid $5 dollars to fish. She was rude and claimed we had walked around earlier!!! It’s a store but you must pay $5 to be on the property. She said I pay the taxes here and if you want to watch a sunset go to a park that your taxes pay for!!! I would take your business elsewhere we are. Snap shot of the owner running people off as we left.

We went to Lake Limestone Campground in 2021 and agin in 2022, after that visit we decided we wouldn’t return because the management and staff were trashy and unprofessional. Some friends of ours convinced us that it was under new management so we decided to give it another try, and we still feel the same way about the bathhouse and ports potty’s were disgusting and the code for the women’s bathhouse SECURITY WAS COMPROMISED IT HAS A PIN CODE SOMEONE DISABLED FROM INSIDE AN ANYONE COULD WALK IN. SO WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. Just another note this is a family oriented establishment and to let these kind of folks in is unsatisfactory!!!!

Lake Limestone Campground & Marina hosted Faith Angler Networks High School Fishing State Championship this past week, and I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude to Candace, Shari, and the entire staff. The accommodations were nothing short of perfect for our staff and members. Shari and Candace orchestrated an outstanding team to prepare and serve a meal to 200 guests under the "big tent." The staff's dedication and warmth made us feel incredibly welcomed and ensured our event was a resounding success. Their commitment to excellence truly made our championship an unforgettable experience.

When we first went we love it. We stayed in our travel trailer, we stayed in the little cabin on the hill top and most definitely stayed in the house twice.

Our original rv spot was very small and the electricity did not work. We realized that after we had already unhooked our camper. The lady was super nice and moved us to a different spot. The flies were horrible which I know is just part of nature. The restrooms are nice, clean, and the showers were awesome. We also used the small laundry room which was nice to have. Fishing on the boat was a bit tricky because that lake is way too stumpy for our liking. Overall, we had a good time

This was our first trip to this park and overall it was wonderful! The bathrooms were super clean and always stocked with toilet paper, soap and paper towels. Hot water too! You must have a code to get into the bathrooms and I loved that. We had breakfast once from the kitchen and the food was great! We ate on the covered porch overlooking the water and it was a fantastic place to catch some shade and a breeze and look at the lake. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and very nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is because we tent camped and all of those sites could use some maintenance. Drainage flows through those spots at the back of the park and are washed out quite a bit. With a little work those camping spots could be 5 stars. We fished all weekend and the lake access for our boat at the ramp was great. Parking at the ramp was a bit of an issue but it was a holiday weekend and packed with people so that was to be expected. Overall it was a great first trip here for us and we will definitely be back!

The owner and staff were extremely hospitable. They worked really hard to keep everybody happy. There was a huge tournament while we were there and they did a great job of keeping everything organized and flowing. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to enjoy Lake Limestone!

Stayed here at one of the small cabins the night before the eclipse. It is a well maintained campground. They have tent sites, RV sites, efficiency cabins, and larger rental cabins. There is also a marina, fishing pier, restaurant, and small camp store. It's kind of remote to get to so having the store and restaurant on site are very convenient. The staff was very nice and helpful. The sunsets on the lake are superb and the short hiking trails (Trusty Trails) on the property are great for birding. Saw over a dozen deer pass through the campgrounds which was fun to observe.

Prices are a little high in the store. But still a great place to go to relax and have fun with the family or friends. Easy to access boat ramp with a very big area to cruise around and fish
