Wow is all we can say! This place is such a gem and we're so happy we found it! We decided to make a quick overnight trip to Jefferson and stayed at this lovely place. We had a "favorite" place that we stayed at in Jefferson for the past 5 years but decided to try something new. We were blown away by our stay! Julie and Marty greeted us with open arms, told us some of the history of the house and then showed us to our cottage. We were instantly in awe of the garden cottage when Julie opened the door. It was decorated so beautifully and the attention to detail was incredible. They have gone above and beyond with these cottages. The cottage was so adorable and romantic, impeccably clean, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom towels were soft and fluffy and everything was just perfect. We cannot praise Julie and Marty enough for their awesome bed and breakfast. Breakfast was included and it was such a treat. It was delicious! A huge perk is that each cottage comes with the use of a golf cart during your stay. We had such a blast exploring the town of Jefferson. Our only disappointment is that we couldn't stay longer! Do yourself a favor and book a stay at this AMAZING place! The location is perfect and you are right in downtown Jefferson. We will definitely be back as this is now our new favorite place! Thank you Julie and Marty for your kindness and hospitality. You have the most amazing place and we can't wait to return!

My husband and I had a getaway to Jefferson, TX and stayed at Green Gables of Jefferson. Our hosts, Julie & Marty, were so welcoming. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was so yummy and the "extra" amenities were stellar. We had a blast driving the golf cart they provided around town. We definitely recommend and will be back!

We had an amazing weekend at Green Gables! Julie and Marty were both very kind and hospitable. The cottage made us feel right at home :)Also the location is amazing! We were literally walking distance from downtown Jefferson. Can’t wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Julie and Marty at their beautiful bed and breakfast! I wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in the Garden Cottage, and it was perfect; cozy and having everything you would need to be comfortable - including a microwave and small refrigerator. Their breakfast is wonderful; totally scrumptious! My husband was thrilled driving the golf cart around the town that the hosts provide you. We look forward to staying with them again! Oh, by the way, Julie brought our breakfast to our cottage (so appreciated) and their location is merely a few steps and you are in the downtown heart of Jefferson!

We had a lovely time at Green Gables of Jefferson. Owners were so warm and inviting (even though I walked in with an oversized Ninja turtle shirt and leggings without having a chance to get in a shower that day ?)! The main home was gorgeous! When we first walked through the cottage doors, my first thought was, “this is so incredibly romantic!”. I mean, the music, the decor, the whole room…. Just beautiful. The owners were also so kind as to let us use their golf cart to drive to our dinner that evening. Unfortunately the thunderstorm stopped us from really getting to explore the nightlife, it made for a relaxing peaceful night in (without the kids!). I slept solid on the comfortable bed in the cottage, and we were greeted with the absolute most beautiful breakfast I have ever seen! I felt so spoiled, it’s been a long time since we had breakfast cooked for us! Thank you so much, we can’t wait to return again ?

The owners are VERRY SWEET! And make the visit VERY PLEASURABLE. We love it there and have become great friends. We have stayed in the suite as well as both cottages and enjoyed the stay in each of them but I must say we enjoyed the suite the most.

We stayed in one of the cottages for two nights. The best thing about the Green Gables is the hospitality of the hosts, gracious & friendly! Our stay was nice, quiet,and private. The breakfast was soooo delicious and nicely presented. Want to thank our hosts again for a wonderful stay.

- We stayed in the Garden Cottage, which was just awesome- This was an impromptu trip which became a memorable one because of loving and welcoming hosts- The breakfast was delicious and Julie gave us information about Jefferson and it's history- There was cute little gift for us in the cottage which was very sweet of them I must say- We will definetly visit again

Julie and Marty (the owners) are wonderful hosts, and their rooms were exquisite! We stayed in the lovely Green Gables suite, which has authentic period furnishings, including a clawfoot tub! They thought of everything to make our stay perfect, including a golf cart loaner for town exploring, which you'll definitely want to do! We'll definitely be back!

I was here for the weekend for an event, and I have to say Julie and Marty are amazing hosts, some of the nicest and hospitable folks you will ever meet. We even went to dinner the first night I got to town, which was super nice of them to invite me. This B&B was perfect (from the room to breakfast). I hope I get a chance to come back to Jefferson (amazing town by the way) and I hope to stay here again! Make sure to ask about the history of Jefferson and of the B&B!

My wife and I got redirected here after the place we had booked had an issue. That little hiccup ended up being a good thing. Green Gables is positively wonderful! The room was amazing, the owners were friendly, and the stay was great.They were kind enough to give us good advice on tours and places to eat. Pictures really cannot do justice to the room. They had a fire pit outside in the evenings and the breakfast each morning was terrific.
