We are out of state and I had my mother go to our house to retrieve our mail. We left the house Friday and she went to retrieve our mail the following Tuesday only to find a new resident slip in our mailbox and our mail all had been sent back to where it came from. We never contacted the post office to do this, there is no new resident, we own the home. The mail also hadn’t piled up to justify this because it had only been one business day since we left. Now we have to contact all the places our mail was sent back to and have it redelivered including a check that we needed for some of our bills that will now be paid late. I then tried to contact the post office multiple times over 20 minutes and no one answered. The only reason I got any answers was because my mother physical went to the post office to hand them the phone with me on the speaker.

Leaving review on mine and my husbands joint email account:They never bring my packages to my side door like I specify on the delivery instructions. The lady that delivers mail and packages is so lazy. I cannot always get down to my mailbox which is why I say to bring the package to the side door!. Not to mention they keep bringing mail from the previous homeowners despite them knowing they don’t live here, they returned my voter registration to the voter registration officer so now I can’t even get my voter registration card. The lady knocked over my trash bin a year ago despite it being out of her way and when I complained she had the audacity to leave a passive aggressive letter in my mail box. All I’m saying is she’s lazy and unprofessional, she shouldn’t be an employee if she can’t read and follow simple instructions.

I've always had a great experience here. The folks here work hard, and answer any questions. The delivery drivers for our area are second to none. I've never experienced such friendliness and service before. There have been times where they forget a package and they make the trip all the way back to my house to deliver the same day.The people who work here make it great!

I don’t understand these people that give low reviews, I’ve lived all over the USA and their hours are better than most, others close at three being new to the area this has been one of the best facilities I have been in and for a small town As some call it, it is wonderful the workers are always courteous and very friendly I hate their score is so low because they do not deserve it

Practical and fairly modern considering the population and size of Jasper. However, the community COULD benefit from a second zip code as well as an additional post office. Jasper (town) and its unincorporated 30 square mile area is home to (in my belief) 10,000 to 13,000 residents

First time I've ever had my mail stolen and packages stolen from inside their office. Please make sure they scan your items orherwise they will tell you their not responsible for items stolen off their counter register even though they have cameras. It's obvious they have shady employess and they will continue this thievery right here in Jasper, TX. Management needa to be replaced.

The people that work here get FIVE stars. They are very friendly and helpful. I give the post office itself ONE star, because of the hours of operation, and that they do not have a kiosk where you can buy stamps and ship packages like other post offices do. Typical government thinking ... open an hour AFTER most people are already at work and close an hour BEFORE they get off. At least if there was an automated kiosk outside of the business center, it wouldn't matter that I arrived at 4:15 and they were closed. I could have weighed my package, bought postage and mailed it instead of being very frustrated that I have to make another trip.

I happen to think this post office is pretty good. I come from an area where the post office is huge and always extremely busy. It’s refreshing you have such a small post office close by. They are very personable and do a very good job every time I’ve been there. They are very knowledgeable on the area and have given you great advice to someone new in town. Thank you for making my family feel welcome. Keep up the good work.

This place is pitiful. Postmaster actually passes off issues to his supervisor over the couriers instead of addressing problems directly.. Supervisor does an exquisite job of doing her & his work since he is not willing to fix problems and correct lazy workers.
