“Brookshires in Jasper may be a little more expensive then Walmart but they usually have the things you need when you need them and they will have the same items the next time you go there where wm may not from one week to the next. The only thing I seen that BB did wrong is their meat department guys left the sausage and pork out in a cart too long and it ruined. I noticed it was left out too long and I purchased it anyway and sure enough when I got it home or when I went to it was ruined. I should have known better but they should have known better also because it was summer time.”

“Old Millers is a good store. They have what you need and they're in a good spot. Their gas is a little too high but a small store like that it's understandable.”

“THE WALMART WAY IS THE BEST WAY. I realize this is my opinion but I know for a fact it works. This morning I had to purchase a battery for my riding mower. I received great customer service from all four registers which I purchased from auto service, CSM register at self-checkout, and the regular register, & Vision Center. Today and throughout the years I have received some exceptional service at this location. To be truthful the area where there was a huge repeated problem with great customer service in this store was when you need something from the locked containers in cosmetics and the pharmacy area. Never could I hardly get assistance on several occasions from the front line they would repeatedly send me to the area to wait on assistance that never showed up or send me looking for an associate that I never found and I had to leave the store without the merchandise I came to purchase.

When I was an Associate at Walmart at several locations I was taught the WALMART WAY during new hire orientation, me along with my coworkers enforced THE WALMART WAY-once I was on the floor with a smile on our faces. You would never tell a customer you don’t know where certain merchandise is located and walk away from the customer or point them in the direction of the merchandise they’re seeking. Even if you’re on break you go with the customer and find what they need and someone on the frontline would extend your lunch break. We (first contact for help) didn’t even hand customers off to another associate we accomplished the mission for the customer.

I’ve been told by several associates in other Walmart stores that the WALMART WAY is no longer in place. CLEARLY. I patronize WALMART STORES NATIONWIDE. Personally I said Sam Walton is scratching from his grave. Just keeping things ?. To me he was a genius who knew CUSTOMER SERVICE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. His system guaranteed maximum return on the BOTTOM LINE with extremely happy customers to go with that profit. I don’t know if the WALMART WAY is taught anymore to new associates or enforced so I’ll not hold that against any WALMART Store. The difference it would make if it was taught & enforced for the customer sake, employer and employees benefiting through maximum spending on the customer behalf, mega profit for the owner of the store and extra incentives for the employees.

There was a time at WALMART If a customer was slightly mishandled the front-end could and would give gift card, reduce the price of the merchandise to the customer. This would smooth the situation and the customer would leave the store feeling valued instead of stressed plus irritated from receiving TREAT THE CUSTOMER HOWEVER YOU FEEL WAY. I consider the WALMART WAY A 5⭐️ customer service that can be easily achieved by each associate like the old days. It’s shouldn’t be an option to not give the best customer service available to your customers. No disrespect intended I only want to state facts because this is about GREAT BUSINESS.”

“Employees have always been friendly. Love the fountain drinks with the nugget ice. Carry most of want you'd want from a conference store. But they aren't zoned to sell beer, not their fault, but the zoning commission. Hope that changes soon. Love the water and ice station outside.”

“It's overall a great store. It's better than going to a big store like Wal-Mart as long as you only need a few things. They sell a pretty great variety of things including food, clothes, cosmetics, OTC meds, cleaning products, household items, office supply, pet supplies & more. The prices are typically low & they have sales regularly. You can download their app & clip virtual coupons to use at the checkout. While they sell a decent variety of items, they are still not comparable to big chain stores or grocery stores in terms of what they sell. They are FOR SURE an excellent alternative. I recommend that you give them a chance.”

“Staff is great. My roommate and I have been doing the drop off service since the start of last fall semester, and everything is done great! I would recommend this place to any student who does not want to use the dorm washers and dryers.”
