Great store, very clean but I've been to the deli a couple of times and the deli folks refuse to cook chicken strips, on my last visit I told the gentleman that I needed 3lbs of chicken strips, he pointed at the chicken strips and said "looks like all we have is about a pound and a half "...lol...whatever you do don't please the customer...besides krispy krunchy chicken is better anyways

Brookshires in Jasper may be a little more expensive then Walmart but they usually have the things you need when you need them and they will have the same items the next time you go there where wm may not from one week to the next. The only thing I seen that BB did wrong is their meat department guys left the sausage and pork out in a cart too long and it ruined. I noticed it was left out too long and I purchased it anyway and sure enough when I got it home or when I went to it was ruined. I should have known better but they should have known better also because it was summer time.

It's a good place to shop for groceries, plus they have a florist department. When I'm near Brookshires, I stop. The bakery is yummy ?.

You would expect things at a larger store to be cheaper than a dollar general but you'd be wrong. Everything they carry that dollar general does is marked up $1-$2 more than DG
