Had to do my break and Loves across the street was packed full. I've been using the restroom alot due to health issues and let my dog on a leash cause there's no fence from property to exit ramp and people would not pay attention (as always) with what they're doing and hit my dog.

No visible signs saying it's pay to park. They wait until late at night when you're asleep to bang on the truck door, hoping you'll pay them instead of driving sleepy and having to drive the next day without good sleep. I respect a good scam, but this one is dangerous.

Just found out that the owner has started charging for tractor trailers to stay overnight in the entire parking lot. $10 per night. Not as expensive as paid spots at other truck stops but very frustrating to have that dropped on me at the last second. There are a few small signs alluding to this new policy but they are easily missed. Can't use mobile app to pay for parking as this isn't an actual Pilot/Flying J location (just an authorized dealer) so you are forced to go inside to pay for parking. Also not the end of the world but another frustrating aspect of this new policy. The bathrooms are ok, seen better and seen worse. Shower rooms are huge with a large bench to sit on to put shoes/Sox on after your shower. The water temperature can be difficult to dial in but generally they get hot enough. The biggest issue with the shower rooms is that there is no secondary lock on the door as is customary on most truck stop shower room doors. This is important because if for some reason 2 people are assigned the same shower, you could get walked in on. Overall I used to stop here fairly regularly on my way to/from Dallas but honestly I doubt I'll stop here much in future unless I am forced to.

The customer service is horrible! I went in to order Einsteins Bagels and was waiting for 5 minutes nobody came out. I asked the lady behind the counter - is there anyone working? (In the past when I’ve gone there they will help find the staff member working the bagel area.) The woman behind counter said “They’re probably in the back” as she yawned in my face and stood there leaned up against the counter twirling her ponytail. I went back to bagel counter and after a few minutes I left. Why was it so difficult for her to walk over and see if someone was back there? Instead you choose to use the counter to hold up your body and not be bothered. I wasn’t only there for bagels but I definitely left without purchasing anything. This is ridiculous to me — customer service is customer service….get off the dang counter with your tired self and do your job!
