If I could give Westway Ford (Irving, TX) -0 I would! I have reached out several times to the GM by phone/email only to be dismissed and given wrong email address.08/29/23 Had my Ford Edge towed in to the Service dept. at Westway Ford (Irving) to run a diagnostic ($195) I explained to the advisor what the issue was and what was done to the car the day before (oil change , new oil filter and switch), but low oil pressure light is on and the car keeps stalling . I don't want anything else done to my car I just want the diagnostic ran that will tell them what is wrong with the car.8/31/23- I received my diagnostic with "Needs Oil change, new windshield wipers, Cabin air filter, and front/rear brake pads. P0104 loss HS with PCM the car seems to have has water damage and wreck BUT Needs 2 more hours to see why the car keeps stalling for $390." So, I went to speak with service manager to ask why they did that instead of diagnosing what is wrong with the car which is what i requested. He didn't understand the notes from the tech and will talk to the master tech to see what he thinks. 9/1/23- Received a call from service manager late Friday afternoon that the master tech doesn't really know what is wrong with my car could be a loose wire or mod, but he needs $390 for 2 more hours but not guaranteed he will be able to find it in 2 hours so I could be looking at much more. The tech noticed when he turns my AC on it started my car. I said why wasn't that in the report. He said tech forgot to add that in there. I said so we are looking at a possible electrical issue. He said he wasn't sure. He would give me a few days to think about what I wanted to do with my car.09/04/23 Fearing the worst I went to the used Sales dept. and spoke with Mauricio/Gilbert I let them know my car was in their service dept. I was thinking of trading in my car for one they had on the lot for $20K I filled out "guest sheet" showing my "interest in the car" and info about my car I wanted to trade in with how much I STILL owe on the car he said it wasn't an issue to trade in with still owing but he needed me to come back the next day when service dept. is open so they could give me an honest value trade in. 9/5/23 I came in at 9am did all the paperwork for the new car and GM "Kyle" asked what I wanted for my car since I still owe on it I said $3K he shook my hand and said "OK done deal." Mauricio came back with the used car being double + the amount. He wouldn't let me look at the finance paper, but wanted to tell me what was on it. He said he could mark off whatever I didn't agree too. I grabbed the paper. It had the wrong price for the used car, my trade in was WAY less than what we agreed on. also, added sale prep which was over $2K ! The used car was selling for $20k AS IS. They were trying to get me to sign a contract for over $40K after we had agreed on half that price, been told everything looked good, and that I was approved. An hour later he came back with Gilbert, and they told me they can't go forward with this deal that I still owe on my car, which everyone knew all along, and that they can't take that as a trade in. So, I walked out. They said they would see what they can do and call me ... Later that day I texted Mauricio asking for an update he said I would have to go up in payments if I wanted the car, I asked how much I never heard back from him.9/6/23 I get a call from the service advisor asking if I knew what I wanted to do with my car. I said yes, I was on my way up there to pay for my car and tow it elsewhere. I don't want anything else done to my car. I let her and the cashier know I will be having a tow truck driver here tomorrow 9/7/23 to pick up my car is it ready to go? They both said Yes. Its ready to leave. 9/7/23 Tow truck arrives and called me to let me know my car doesn't look right and I need to come up there. I told him they were only doing a diagnostic... he said you might want to come up here and see thisI got to the

Went here with a friend to look for a mustang GT manual, associate that helped us was vaping outside the main entrance and by accident or not blew smoke at us as we walked up, furthermore when we were inside after telling her what he was looking for she came back with a completely different model of said car. While looking said car, she offered my friend, who's 16 and without a parent to test drive said vehicle, my friend declined and we got his keys and left. While walking back to our vehicle we saw her texting on her phone in the parking lot while driving before she floored it back into the Mustang lot and skidding the tires all while looking at her phone. Furthermore she didnt even lock the truck leaving it unlocked in the lot. Would not recommend.

I will say, I'm very up and down about the service here. I purchased my vehicle here in 2018. Brand new 2019 Ford Escape. I've come several times for oil changes, wheel alignment, and more. The phone etiquette is terrible. It sounds like someone is picking up and hanging up, transferring back and forth, before you actually get a person on the phone. They tell you at the dealership to CALL and schedule an appointment and then you're on hold for 10 mins. I will give a shout-out to Jaden, in the service department, who has helped us twice now with my alignment, parts ordering, and verbally instructing us to schedule a servicing. My alignment took 7 hours to complete. Seems my appointment made, wasn't honored, and was pushed to the back of the line. I come to Westway Ford, in Irving, because they have normally been very good with friendliness and service instead of Five Star Ford here in North Richland Hills. But I'm wavering on where to service my vehicle now. Thanks Jaden for all your help in the Service Department!

5 1/2 hours to change engine oil, transmission fluid and rotate tires is ridiculous for a quick lube. If I would have known it was going to take this long I would have found a different dealership to do the work or scheduled for a different day. The only reason the I am them two stars is the guy that helped me up front was nice evern though everything he told me was wrong i know he was just letting me know what he was told. The biggest aggravation was since it took them so long to work on the vehicle they shut down for lunch while I was stuck in the waiting room. This is a service they do everyday you should be able to give your customers an accurate time to complete the work not just tell them itwill be another 45 minutes. Every other quicksand I have been to is able to why can't this one?

Came in to buy a new Ford F-150. The selection Westway had was better than other dealerships in the area. I'm not sure if this means anything to a review but I noticed that the dealership is a reflection of the community here in Irving. I saw spanish speaking customers being taken care of. Thank you Lupe for helping my family with my new truck Great service and amazing Ford Financing which I got 3.9% on.

Please learn from my experience. I am not someone to take time out of my day to write a negative review. This is literally my first time, but that's how bad my experience was at Westway Ford. I bought a 40k truck from Jackson. My check engine light came on after owning it for 2 weeks. I called several times asking about it and nobody would ever call me back. Then after 6 weeks of owning it, the driver side wheel started grinding like crazy and I pulled over and it was smoking and the wheel was at a 45 degree angle. The wheel bearing was completely shot and obviously not put on correctly. Even though Jackson and his brother Ryan pushed over and over again for 6 hours to get this warranty plan with the truck and I finally gave in and agreed just to get out of there because they promised me "if anything happens to the truck you're covered" well it took over 10 calls to finally get a call back and who would have guessed. None of it was covered. Jackson even had the audacity to say "you know with it being over 30 days of owning the truck, that is something that can happen with just normal wear and tear" I have had the truck for 6 weeks and have only driven it on the highway lmao. I should have listened to all the bad reviews that are littered everywhere about this dealership. I will never purchase from them again. There are many other things like nickel and dimeing me for an extra key because they didn't tell me until after I already signed the ppwk for a 40k+ vehicle that it only has one key, but I won't spend more of my time going into detail. Just know this is the worst experience I've ever had with any company not just a car dealership. They are slimy and will lie and as soon as you sign the ppwk they do not care about you and will never return your phone call or do what they promised in the sell.

Do not give them your phone number . They will harass you for months . Doesn't matter if you tell them to stop , yell at them , hang up on them . They are the worst and it's harassing at the very least . I have blocked most of the numbers and they still call me three to four times a week .

I Just bought my first truck, an F150, from Westway Ford a little over a week ago. After I bought the truck I stumbled on yelp and read some of the reviews on Westway Ford. Most of the reviews were unfavorable and a couple really got my attention. Here is my story. I found the truck that I wanted on their website and did an online inquiry. Destiny Elliott sent me a video of the truck and invited me to come and see it. I called her and made the appointment. I stopped by on my way home from work. She was busy so James Rice took very good care of me. Showed me a couple of trucks since the one I wanted had a dead battery. Talked a little bit about price but I was not ready. No pressure whatsoever. Thank me for coming in and I went home. The next day I received a call from "Sunny" , one of the manages, and after a bit back and forth we agreed on a price over the phone and I agreed to come in on Saturday to finish the deal. Destiny had the truck pretty much ready. Unfortunately it was the wrong truck. Told her that it was the wrong truck and she rushed out to get the right truck. Went to look at it and again, it was the wrong truck. She apologized and said she will find the truck that I wanted. Maybe because those were the two trucks that I test drove, really don't know. Gave her the vin, she found the truck and it was the one I wanted. Now to the price. Took a little back and forth on the price, they were trying to increase the price from what "Sunny" and I had agreed over the phone. Got close enough for us to get an agreement. Was not the price agreed over the phone but it was close enough. I think I got a fair price. It took a little negotiation as expected. Did they try and switch cars. Well l, I test drove two different trucks because the one listed on the website, the one I wanted to see, had a dead battery. I had told Sunny which one was the one I wanted and I provided a picture from their website. Ryan Waldrop in Finance was a pretty cool guy. He did his thing sold me extended warranty and prepaid service. He explained everything, gave me different options and I did not feel any pressure to buy anything. Really no nonsense. Pretty straight forward and nothing fishy. Now for service. Yes service after one week. Software issue. There was something wrong with the Ford App. I couldn't start the truck with it. Called the number listed, tried to fix it, could not make it work. The rep gave me a code and told me to take the truck to the dealer. Dropped it off at 3:30 on 5/25. The next day I text my service rep for an update. Nothing. Text him again a few hours later. Nothing. Called and left a message. Nothing. This was starting to look like one of the reviews. Called again and actually talked to a young lady. Unfortunately did not write the name down. She went to find Jacob, my service rep, and told me that he would call me or text me as soon as he finished with a customer, which he did. The technician had not had a chance to look at it. They will look at it the next day 5/27. I text Jacob's the next day and he replied within the hour. My car was ready. They did not have to do anything, the technician checked the software and is up to date. The update might have been lagging. Pretty straight forward, no fees, no charges. Perfect They provided me with a similar vehicle for a loaner. Destiny and James we're really good. Attentive and. cordial. I give them 5 stars for their effort The only reason that I do not give an overall 5 rating is because they could have had the right truck and the paperwork ready for me. All I would have had to do is look at the truck and go to the finance office. I knew what i wanted, they had what I wanted and we -Sunny and I m- had a verbal agreement on the price. Service I would give them a 4.5 due to my first day experience. Maybe i am too picky but I compare the service experience with another dealer and brand which have always been exceptional.

We took our F250 in for all new front breaks in March. Paid over $1,000 for the driver side calipers not to be tightened and a bolt came out. Since this was a terrifying experience, we had it moved to the closest auto shop to take a look. We paid another $1,000 for them to tell us that Westway Ford’s Service Dept didn’t tighten the calipers and it almost caused complete break failure. We went back to Westway Ford’s Service department just wanting to be made whole and get the last $1000 reimbursed to us. We brought the notes from not only the shop we took it to, but the warranty company who said they wouldn’t cover it because it was considered an “incomplete job” by Westway Ford. We spoke to the service drive manager on duty on Saturday, April 22nd who was very kind and understanding and said we would be made while. He asked us to give them 3 days and took copies to show his superiors and accounting. Today the Service Manager told us that since it’s been a month, we have traveled 10,000 miles on them, and I’ve didn’t bring it to them to fix, they would not be giving us the money back. Horrible service. Could have killed is due to their negligence. STAY AWAY!!!Service: Brakes

To start out I wanted a 2019 Ford Escape that I saw online at this dealership. Yes it was a 32 mile drive from me but I knew what I wanted. There were no other dealerships that had it! So I make the drive, go in and lay out exactly what my situation was with Ernesto. He had actually made a video of what I wanted and after finally getting the monthly payment I wanted, he proceeds to pull around with the wrong vehicle! Do not purchase anything from this Dealership! Bait and switch laws are out there but only on new cars. Buyer BEWARE!

STOLE my extended warranty money, never provided one and it's not answering calls or emails and let's me and my husband wait for hours at a time when we go in, in order to do something. It's always passed on to someone else and never fixed. It's been 2 weeks now without a car, without extended warranty they said they would provide and now they say in order to re-qualify we need to do another $5k of repairs.Continuation,Josh S replied to my review, My husband Landon who has been my Uber for over 2 weeks while I manage to do grad school and work has had to deal with this issue directly. I don't have time to spend 3 hours waiting for someone to dare to get out of their office to talk. An email was sent to the address provided after waiting yesterday for over 40 minutes for anyone to come to the showroom to help my husband before he gave up and walked out. No replies to date other than one asking for the same information that was sent in the email we started the conversation with which is honestly unprofessional and not appreciated. They're messages for you (recipient!) to READ. Other emails used:
