Easy to get a quote with a reasonable price, with no upfront payment until work is completed to satisfaction. The screens look good and we noticed a significant difference in lowering the temperature upstairs, since the screens were installed in June 2024. I hope the solar screens will last and the warranty will be honored when the time comes.
I will recommend them to anyone looking to install solar screens on windows.

There seems to be common thread as to the outright rudeness of customer service. I spoke with a salesman and told him that we just had our windows replaced and needed new screens on three of the windows and needed a rough estimate. I also told him that I had the "cut sheets" from the window factory providing all the window dimensions. The salesman told to me send the "cut sheets" to the email address he provided and they would send me a price, this salesman was also polite. Two weeks later I still did not have a price and called them back. They acknowledged that they received my email but couldn't give me a price till they were able to do a call back (?). Ten minutes later I get a call back a different salesman who stated that his crew needed to come out and measure the windows. I asked why they had to come out since I was trying to avoid waiting around for someone to arrive at an unspecified time. He told his men were not capable of reading the dimensions provided from the factory to give me a price. I told I didn't care if his guys had to come I was just trying to save them a trip but go ahead and come out. He replied that if I didn't care then he didn't care and find another company to get a price from! I am fortunate that I found out how bad customer service was before I handed over any money. Not sure how companies like this stay in business. I owned a business for 30 years and never once spoke to any customer in this way.

Have had Lone star screens for years. One got damaged in a storm. They came out quickly, measured and had me a new one in just a few days. Recommend them highly and will always use them

Great Job to Paul & Jim for providing a great experience again! This is their 3rd visit to my home for new work! Not sure on other reviews on here! I am a real customer who will keep it real! Every time I have spoken to Jim he is welcoming and Paul who came to my home to do measurements is super cool! Eric the installer who came today was super nice and welcoming. Prices are great, fast response time and quality work!

Unfortunately, I did not see the one star reviews sooner. Quite a bit of common thread and concerns here. I am saddened by this as I have referred them to several clients and used them myself. Rude, Poor communication, no minimum stated yet required upon order, untimely response/installation. Understandable if installing as well where built in cost is added for install on quote. However since they require minimum I inquired upon pickup and install myself. Got rude and short with me not allowing for further discussion giving ultimatum and cut off. The owner or manager is literally firing himself. Since literally it’s screen and frame most likely a YouTube video of DIY or a competitive company with customer service skills coming into the area would fix this issue. Seems like their to comfortable in there niche.

Loved my screens! Called, they came and gave me a quote super quick! Wasn’t able to be in person when they came due to my work schedule however they accommodated me and installed my screeens as soon as they could! Made the process super easy fast and stress free! Gave me exactly what i wanted! Made my house look super modern! Love them! Thank you Lone Star Solar screens! Definitely referring to my Family and neighbors

I have used Lone Star Solar Screens for a number of my rental homes and they have always done a great job. Over the last month I called to get two screens doors measured and setup for screen doors. On this past Saturday, someone from the company showed up without any type of notification and needless to say I was not at home. I called the company back first this morning (Monday) and spoke to Jim to see if I could get someone back out and to let me know when they would come. Per Jim, it's a small job and it best if I get another company to assist. WOW - money talks! Needless to say - NEVER WILL I USE LONE START SOLAR AGAIN.
