Real old school place. No fancy computers just people who really know their stuff. Walked in, asked and 30 minutes later walked out with part I was looking for YEARS online on gunbroker, ebay etc. And it costs me about 25% of what I was ready to pay

Great place to go especially if you have a military surplus gun. They can't do any cutting, welding, or demilling, which is to be expected. It's a small lobby area, but that's ok because they can get a lot done, and for a very affordable price. That, and they usually have a lot of the obscure parts that you might need to put together a project. They're only open Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays, but to me it's worth the wait and the travel since I live on the other side of Dallas. I also appreciated that they tried working with me on my Swiss Schmidt Rubin 1911 carbine build. I was told that it was a K31 when I bought it, so I had gotten a K31 bolt assembly on eBay. And I took both the bolt assembly and my barreled receiver up there explained to them my situation, and they tried to look for the right bolt assembly for me to trade with me even though I didn't get either of the parts there.

I have bought many parts from Lee's by phone/mail for many years, but recently I visited the store for the first time – what an experience! The staff are friendly and entertaining. The store is stuffed wall to wall, floor to ceiling with parts. I'm amazed that they can find anything – but they do! I got a beautiful rear sight assembly for a S&W 686 that had been converted for red dot. Now it's back to original, thanks to Lee's Gun Parts.

Did the job. Parts were hard to come by for an old antique wall-hanger, but after 8 months they found the parts. Now when my kids view it (and when they're big enough: shoot it), I can tell them about how Papaw taught me to shoot with it. They cleaned up the original bluing so it only looks slightly mistreated, didnt damage the serial number/manufacturer stamp. Good job.
