This hotel was able to get me in as soon as I called. They even let me check in early because I was stuck at the airport due to American Airlines changing my flight last minute without notice. They came and picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the hotel. They are remodeling the lobby and hallways but the rooms are really nice and really clean.Rooms: Very clean and spacious.Food & drinks: I used the room service delivery and it was easy. A little pricey but I am also right next to the airport without a car. So it had to be delivered here.

Worst hotel experience. Not only was the room a little pricy but I used this hotel for the free transportation from the airport shuttle. Shuttle never showed up at the airport. Staff were extremely rude and unwelcoming. Our room was in a construction site with staff working late on construction. Went to use the hot tub and it was dirt with debris in it. Not well kept at all. I wish I would have spent my money on a place that cared.

There's renovation, and then there's lack of health/safety to patrons. We were given a room at the end of a long, dirty hallway, with construction scraps/paint chips all over the carpet, in the same area of the hotel that was being painted that day. Paint fumes were horrendous... my spouse got a migraine. The room numbers were just tossed on the floor beside each room. The exit sign was lit, but on the floor and upside down in the corner. The front desk clerk said, "I know the fumes are horrendous and they last a long time,...I know because they painted all around my desk and I had to deal with it". They said they couldn't move us away from the construction. We had to check out to protect our health, but they refused to refund us. Horrible, unprofessional, unhealthy.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The place is a disaster zone with all of the remodel work going on. The paint fumes were unbearable and caused us huge headaches, forcing us to move out early and find another hotel. Instead of handing it professionally, the management refused to refund the night we left early, so we had to pay for the room that we felt was unsafe for our health to stay in. If you value your health, stay in another hotel.Safety: Not safe for your health while the remodel work is happening.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I wish La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas DFW Airport North honestly disclosed the construction that was going on. I reserved two rooms for me and a family member, and we stayed for one night. The paint odor and dust were horrible. We woke up with a throbbing headache. I had to go to the emergency room because the dusty environment triggered my asthma. The noise from the construction early in the day was terrible. The showerhead handheld had no water pressure, and it was barely warm. The issues were addressed, but nothing was done. Never again would I stay in this hotel or any other La Quinta hotel. Attached are photos to show the situation of this hotel that should be closed for construction.

My room # is on the floor lmao with a whole lot of other items and workers doing there thing. Not a comfortable stay- please don't stay here.

I originally contacted the property directly to ask about early check in rates as I was coming to DFW from an 11 hour red eye flight and had a 12 hour layover. I was told that there was no early check in and that my only option was to book 2 nights. I did so via expedia, which is how I typically make all my reservations. I sent a note to remind them that I would be checking in after 6 am on the day after the original day of the reservation. I also sent a second note the day before my reservation to remind them.Once I arrived at the hotel, I walked into a construction zone and no one actually at the folding tables serving as a front desk. There were also signs explaining that due to construction, there would be no running water for a significant portion of my time at the hotel. It took over 30 mins for a front desk attendant to arrive to try and check me in. I found out that my reservation had already been cancelled as I was a “no show”. They were able to get me a room, however, by that time, I had already decided that it was unlikely I would have a comfortable rest during the day due to construction and the risk of not having water running was a great concern.I decided to get a room in the neighbouring property. It seemed reasonable to expect some sort of a refund, even for the day I had not stayed after the discovery of the state of the hotel. One should expect a fully functioning room for the full rate I was charged. That has not been the case and no refund was issues. The front desk attendant was rude and unhelpful. Hotel management has refused to discuss the situation with me. Expedia has been trapped by the hotel’s no refund policy.I will not return to La Quinta and doubt I will use any other Wyndham property again. If you choose to do so, I hope your experience is better than mine was.#DFW #Wyndham #badhotel #Laquintainnsandsuites #terriblecustomerservice

Stayed here just the one night after a late night flight into Dallas. The hotel was undergoing major renovation work and so the lobby and hallways were messy, and my room smelt of paint. The breakfast was poor. It served a purpose, but I'd not rush to book again.

Upon arrival , greeted the reception personnel and they just ignore you, very unprofessional and rude front desk day and evening. Also they made a mistake and took all our luggage and food from our room , put it in garbage bags because they made a "mistake" nobody even apologized and there response was"we are not gonna go back and forth with you".On our last day all the hall ways smelled like paint , I had the taste of ot in the morning, hotel stairwells smell like urine. I will definitely not recommend this place

I usually like LA Quinta. This stay sucks. The front desk staff very rude. When we first got here they put us in a room that smells like paint. (They were in the middle of a construction) they moved us to another and that turns out good. We ask one day to clean room but they never did. Learn that u have to put in a request 24 hours in advance. That's stupid. Also it is how they treat other customers. The only person really nice was the hotel manager and the kitchen person name Selina(so nice) I will not stay at this particular LA Quinta againRooms: Like I said they were in a middle of a remodel and most of the place smell like paintNoteworthy details: Staff front was rude

If Airport is part of your name, people would expect a pretty effective shuttle service. Not the case here. The driver was great, but one single old beat-up van is woefully inadequate. Front desk staff was rude as well when trying to coordinate pickup. Hung up on us mid-sentence when we were trying to verify whether we were in the right spot after 35 minutes with no ride.

Hotel is under construction with no working elevator which means you have to carry luggage up the stairs. Staff was so rude and acted like she hated her job! The room has a strong odor as soon as you walked in. It was so strong it gave me a headache. I asked for another room and I was told they be were sold out and there was morning they could do. I contacted booking and Wyndham directly.Rooms: Room was very hot because there wasn't any a/c working in the hallways. The room has a very strong odor as soon as you walked in. Very unpleasant
