I had a much better experience with Planet Fitness than LA Fitness. At Planet Fitness, the salesperson was honest and transparent, delivering exactly what was promised during our discussion. Unlike LA Fitness, where I encountered misleading sales tactics regarding fees, Planet Fitness followed through with everything as discussed. Additionally, Planet Fitness is much cleaner, offering a more comfortable environment. Highly recommend Planet Fitness over LA Fitness!

Worst LA I’ve been too around DFW due to lack of cleaning, lack of care from management and patrons, smells like a whataburger in there constantly, very hard to get a good workout in here

I had a very frustrating experience with the management of my membership at LA FITNESS with jay or jaycol it’s her name. I canceled my membership in person with one of the employees, but to my surprise, a month later, I was charged again. Even worse, the charge was repeated the following month, despite having already canceled my membership.
After the first charge, I contacted my bank to report that I had not authorized the payment. When I received the charge again the following month, I tried to contact the gym. The manager was not available at that time, but after several attempts, I finally managed to speak with her.
I explained the situation and told her that I had canceled my membership two months earlier. She asked for the exact date of the cancellation, but I couldn’t remember it precisely because they didn’t give me any paper or recipe. I explained that I had canceled it with one of the employees in a small office, and they assured me that I wouldn’t be charged again. Despite this, the manager was neither respectful nor willing to help me, insisting that without the exact date, there was nothing she could do for me.
a simple situation like this turned into such a complicated issue and that the staff wasn’t willing to provide a proper solution.

Terrible workout experience all around. You can't go anywhere without terrible BO being present. Equipment is broken more often than not due to lack of understanding on how to properly use it. Free weights are NEVER returned to the proper spot (if ever returned to a spot at all).
If you have to go to this location go before 4 PM.

Machines are broken, people don’t clean after using them. Zumba instructor only tells what to do but half does it. :(

This location is going downhill, dirty, broken things like the locker's doors, smelly. Looks like it needs remodeling bad.

I love Irina's classes at this gym. She teaches Body Works Plus Abs, Power Circuit and Zumba. Irina has several levels for each exercise so everyone can do the exercise working at their own level. She cares about her class. Her warm personality and encouragement make the hard work seem easy. Thanks Irina!!!!

I’ve been a member of LA Fitness for 2+ years and always checked in using the QR code from their app. Today when I
did the same thing, the guy very rudely stopped me and said, “hold on wait, what was that on your phone, are you trying to scan a screenshot.” Barelly keeping my cool, I said no. He told me to do it again so I scanned the very same code again and this time it was good. While I understand that technology is tricky and glitchy sometimes and I should be giving the benefit of the doubt, I do not want to feel this hostility and maybe a little profiling at an establishment I’ve been a member for more than 2 years. If he would’ve just asked me to scan it again politely, I wouldn’t even have cared or remembered that.

I always love coming to LA fitness. I love that they have the multi gym offer so I can find one while traveling. It’s a well kept gym, if you’re in a good area anyway. Good equipment and a turf section.

I’m not sure why the reviews are so negative for this location, but if things used to be worse they’ve turned it around. The only broken equipment I saw was up in the cardio area, and everything seemed to be squared away

Worst gym in dfw. Elliptical machines are all out of order. Staff is very rude and they never change out the disinfectant wipes
