Irving Arts is such a special community center. We have gone there for years to visit the exhibits, participate in family days, summer camps for our son, special events in the theater. The Christmas Tree gallery is a personal favorite every year. Such a unique & cool resource for the community. Even if you’re not from Irving, you definitely need to check it out.

We attended a performance last night for the first time. Since I purchased my tickets online, I had little interaction with the staff then but that process went smoothly. Also, the tickets were fairly affordable to the public, too. At the night of the event, getting in there was plenty of parking that is well lit and I felt secure. Going inside, the staff was visible and friendly and we were asked/directed three times to help us find our seats in the balcony. As for the seats, I don’t think there is a bad seat there… except the box seats are odd to me, they are one by one and facing away from each other. My seat in the balcony was close enough to see what was going on and unobstructed by the people in front of me.If there is a performance happening here that you want to see, do it!

We visited the Irving Arts Center on a Wednesday. It was peaceful and quiet, like we booked the whole place to ourselves! We appreciated being able to take our time in admiring the art and sculptures. Please note that you'll have to enter in from the doors closer to MacArthur Blvd where the outdoor art installation is located. Restrooms are available. Don't forget to view the art in the lobby near the auditorium. I highly recommend visiting!

the Irving Arts Center is more than just an event venue; it's a canvas for creating extraordinary experiences. With its aesthetic charm, adaptable spaces, top-tier service, and technical capabilities, it's the perfect choice for those seeking an exceptional setting for their special occasions. My event at the Irving Arts Center was an absolute success, and I wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking to elevate their event to the highest level of elegance and sophistication.

Went to see the play intimate apparel today, and it was absolutely amazing. Not only was the play absolutely wonderful, the place was extremely clean and the staff were very helpful! The art was also great and adorable to look at! Will definitely be going again :)

March 2023 by Miss Nigeria International
The Irving Arts Center treats people based on their race. We hosted the 3rd Annual Miss Nigeria International Pageant on November 6th at the Irving Arts Center in Texas and it was a terrible mistake!!! They monitored everything we did closely including what vendors sold or exhibited at the event. They also demanded a percentage of the sales made by our vendors after they had already charged us commercial rates. The lighting was terrible for the outrageous prices they charged. Some of the so-called stage staff were nowhere to be found when we needed them. They also wanted to shut down our event when we were just one hour short of finishing because we started late. The staff were very hostile, and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone of African descent. They will do everything to overcharge and frustrate you. It’s a terrible culture of keeping Africans out of the venue. Ironically, the Mayor of IRVING is a wonderful man, and I am priviledged to have met him. He has no idea of this wicked culture that they practice at this Events Center. All in all, I am glad for the experience but there will never be a NEXT TIME

The irving symphony orchestra was fantastic. They are so talented and the selection of music perfect. Great venue but seats and arm rests are way to small and I am a male 5'11" and 205lbs.

A perfect place to visit and to learn about art. They have an amazing display of sculptures, paintings, and more! It's very educational! Plus it's open for public to view.
