“I stayed two nights for a piping conference. My room didn't really need much in the way of cleaning between the two nights. When I got back to my room I found my bed was made and beyond that my pill box, my tooth paste, my tooth brush, and even my drink cup were all neatly arranged on a face flannel on the side of the sink. It was just so nice! It's the little things. Thanks again for a great room and a good conference.”

“Good evening, having been a Marriott staff for a number of years I exclusively stay at Marriott! My first property was Marriott Mandalay in Las Colinas (omni bought it) This review is not about me just giving a little history. This review is about oneMr. Joseph Henry, very professional, engaged , offered options, walked me to the room to view it with me (as opposed to pointing or saying here is the key it is down the on the left side) #110, talked, smiled, versatile in his multi tasking, attire was more than appropriate at both check in and check out (3 weeks with Marriott) Come on this young man deserves to hear this out loud.The gym was ready to go for a quick 15 minute workout prior to me getting dressed for a weddingThe ladies did a darn good job on the room!!! They were tipped. It is always left in the center of the bed for them to know that it is theirsThe pool was refreshing after coming back from the weddingLoved the fireplace (could not figure how to turn on the firepit)Although they only spoke Spanish the ladies were kind enough to direct me to the ice machine on the 5th floor. Once up there the supv/inspectress helped me to access the door for some iceAlthough we did not have breakfast. The area was colorful, fresh items and well thought outThe pool table, The games & UNO cards LoL!!!!!!I/We will recommend and come backLastly and most important. “Awesome place to stay a while when in the DFW area for travel and otherwise. This was my very first stay here, and I've never heard of this hotel. As an aviation employee, this hotel was recommended by my airline. There is a separate lounge that accommodates us crew members w/ an area to grab snacks and drinks. So, very much appreciated. During my stay, I wasn't able to explore to see if there was a pool and/ or gym. I arrived very late at night due to a flight cancelation. My room consisted of a nice brand new, modern stackable washer and dryer drums upon entrance. When walking into the door to my left, I was pleasantly surprised that there was a stocked kitchenette w/ all the amenities needed for a pleasant visit. Amenities included full fridgerator/ freezer combo, dish washer, full size microwave above the flat stove top, stocked w/ dishes, flatware, pots, pans, glass casserole pan w/ cover etc. In the middle of the kitchenette stood a 2 seat dining table and chairs as well as a nicely separated but open small living area w/ sofa, 2 foot rest ottomans and a flat screen tv w/ I believe direct tv, and other entertainment connection options. To the right of the room, there was a nice size, clean, organized, and open bedroom w/ the option to close the door from the rest of the front living space. Upon walking through the bedroom door to the left there was a floating table w/ another flat-screen tv, some storage and 2 end tables w/ lamps equipped w/ electronic outlets on both sides of the bed. On one side, an alarm clock the other a Bible in the drawer. The bedroom has a nice fresh, clean and comfortable feel non carpeted flooring aside from the small traffic carpet leading to the restroom. The restroom was a standard toilet, sink, bathtub shower head combination. It came equipped w/ a corded hand dryer in an embroidered storage bag found in the drawer along w/ the essentials, including clean large body towels, face, and body washcloths needed for a bath/ shower. Definitely recommend stopping by here when in the area. This hotel is one of my top pleasant stays and I hope to return in the future.”

“The rooms are really large and this is probably the largest LaQuinta I've ever been to. The courtyard is amazing to just sit and reflect. Very few restaurants are walkable distance but if you don't mind hopping in the car nothing is too far. The heated pool is a real bonus. The service was a little slow but they were perfectly friendly.
Safety: I felt perfectly safe
Walkability: Not good, sidewalks don't all connect across the freeway.”

“My family comes down to the Dallas area every few months from OKC for a quick get away and we tend to hotel hop every time we come down. I've only stayed at this property once and it was great. I'm an aviation geek and love watching planes come and go and this hotel has a great view of the runway to watch planes takeoff/land at DFW. Definitely going to stay here more often.”

“The worker at the front is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Had to get a room for my father last minute because of a terrible American Airlines experience and he was so helpful. Not only in getting the room but I ordered my father food, because he hasn't been able to eat since AA made him stuck on a tarmak for 9hrs with no drinks or food, and he made sure it was delivered to him. I am so thankful for his patience and kindness. He helped our family so much tonight and I am so so grateful for him. Thank you so much for being the one good thing to happen to us today. Thank you!!!”

Rooms: My room had everything I needed for a one night stay. The shower and bathroom were very clean, with great lighting and a makeup mirror.

Food and drinks: The two restaurants inside the hotel are very convenient. The front restaurant has a full bar and american style food, and the other restaurant has pizza and good beer. They also have a good breakfast buffet”

“Great value and great location near the Irving Convention Center. We stayed in a room with a single queen bed and had plenty of room for the two of us and our luggage. The kitchenette has a full-size fridge, not one of those dinky dorm fridges you see in most hotels or motels, and was perfect for our needs. We used the kitchenette to make keto breakfasts. The bath had quartz countertops, there was a nice office area in the main room, and everything was in good working order, and clean. The friendly staff at the front desk provided refills for our coffee maker, and there is also a coffee bar by the gym, which we didn't use.
This hotel is a great alternative to the hotels within a few minutes walk from the convention center, which are more convenient but cost 2 or 3 times as much per night, and don't have kitchenettes. It's easy worth paying for a 3-5 minute Uber ride from the Sonesta.
Rooms: Nice large room with a handy kitchenette.
Nearby activities: The hotel is only a few minutes from the Irving Convention Center by car, no more than 5 minutes tops. We took an Uber to/from the convention center one day for about $7.50 each way, and drove our own car another day, and in both cases it took just a couple of minutes. There doesn't seem to be sidewalks all the way to the convention center from the hotel, unfortunately, as it would probably only take about 15 minutes to make the walk, if you could.”

“Very good location, I found good service even though I arrived at 12am, they picked me up at the airport without any problem, it's good to rest between flights, good value for money, quality, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, it really surprised me. “10/10 recommend! We stayed one Saturday night for a romantic staycation date night. The weather in late October during our stay was perfect for hanging out outside in the courtyard. We arrived late in the evening and had to leave relatively early the next day, but I cannot wait to return and bring friends!
Rooms: We stayed in a Deluxe King overlooking the pool area. The room was spacious, and the amenities and decor were high-quality, giving off a fun, unique vibe.
All rooms open onto outdoor walkways, so you must walk outside to get from reception to your room. The front desk had several umbrellas to lend in case of inclement weather.
Nearby activities: The hotel is centrally located in the DFW area, a 10-15-minute car ride from the DFW and DAL airports. This hotel is a perfect stay for events at the Toyota Music Factory or Irving Convention Center.
Safety: The outdoor areas are well-lit, and I had no safety concerns during my stay.
Walkability: The Toyota Music Factory concert and event venue, the Irving Convention Center, and many restaurants and bars are within
less than 5 minutes walking.
Noteworthy details: Live music is played on Fridays and Saturdays in the on-site restaurant, and many rooms overlook the courtyards and pool area. Several groups of patio chairs and outdoor games make this hotel perfect for socializing with fellow travelers. Separate from the restaurant, there is also a dual-purpose bar (evenings) and coffee shop (mornings). There are complimentary beach cruisers that you could borrow for a fun bike ride.”
