Rented an electric vehicle from them the other day. Piss poor customer service on the phone and in person. If you like walking into a location and being ignored for 15 minutes before a skinny black lady with fake eyelashes rolls her eyes and says in an annoyed way "can I help you?", then you've found your spot...but for me, not a good start...was I being ignored because I'm Asian? Anyway, I return my rental in pristine condition, on time, and with a greater battery charge than it had when I received the car, and what do I find in my receipt? Yup, charged for extra hours/day even though I was there on time. So, I had to take the time to call Hertz's 1-800 number to straighten everything out (and give them feedback about this abysmal location). If you're thinking about renting here, don't, just don't do it. Enterprise at DFW Airport has amazing customer service. There's no reason to rent at this Hertz unless you absolutely have to...and even then, it's probably better to just walk.

I'm a college head coach. We were going to split up our team with a small number of us to head out to Abilene for a meet so we rented a SUV vehicle (per university rules) through this location to transport us there. I made the reservation a few days earlier as I did it over the phone with an agent at there site. The day before the meet I get there to pick up the vehicle and the guy said they didn't have an SUB vehicle for us saying the airport took them. So now what? So we had to do some serious damage control and spent several more hours trying to figure out what to do. By the grace of God, after calling up so many businesses, the Enterprise in Grapevine had an SUV. Oh yea, Hertz still charged us. They still freaking charged us. I had to call up corporate to take care of that.

DISCLAIMER: THIS REVIEW IS REALLY FOR THE ARLINGTON TOYOTA LOCATION BUT IT'S NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE SO THIS WILL DO. The one star isn't for the service, the car, or the online reservation, but for their terrible eCommerce department. I had a car I rented to get my car repaired. Then a ice storm hit Dallas and caused me to rent another week. Well they wouldn't let me use the discount and they stuck it to me. The second week was twice as much as the first. Then when it came time to return the car, they never released the holds on my accounts. They had the nerve to blame my bank account as if my bank is the one who put the charges there. SMH. To make it worse they did multiple charges on my account. I almost overdraft like four times. It's been weeks since I returned the car and it's still on there. And after calling and asking for a manager, they blocked my number. I should have just went to enterprise. First time ever going to Hertz, and after this terrible experience, I'll never use them again.

Reservation for pick up today with a reservation number . Received a call from a rude unhelpful arrogant man saying there was no inventory and he had no idea when there would be . He also said he was giving me a courtesy call instead he could have just let me come in to find out there was none . So he felt he was doing me a favor . He need to not have a job

Rented a Tesla here for 10am pickup and it was 30% charged and not ready to go. I had to take it to a supercharger after pickup. Honestly that wasn't the biggest issue. The main problem is that the worker there argued with me because I made a complaint about the vehicle not being prepared and then told me to shut up at one point. Last time I use not only this location, but Hertz in general. I completely understand why they have a 1.5 rating.

6 customers in line and one attendant. They gave me a 2018 Explorer with 47k miles and an intermittently functioning drivers door lock. Made me come back to DFW to exchange and it took two hours.

Rented a car and they said I did not return it with a full tank of gas which is untrue. Do not go here they will scam you out of your $50 deposit

Walked in the door and wasn't acknowledged and then another customer walked in and she was completely ignored while the front desk staff was on her phone. They were nice individuals once you started talking to them but I was completely annoyed that I walked in, they looked at me and then looked down and didn't say anything until I say "hello"

Longtime frequent car renter. I found this place on Priceline... no regrets whatever - the manager, the staff, were great! They even extended my rental through Hertz with Priceline price adjustment. Easy, fast and friendly!!! As a frequent renter and traveler, I highly recommend this place! They really treat you like family!!!

This was the worst experience I have had. Rented a vehicle on Booking to attend my graduation in South haven, Ms at 6:00 pm. Got there at 8:00 am to pickup, was told I was not able to rent that particular vehicle without a $200 holding, now who has an extra 2 to 5 hundred on their credit. She went down to another car, which had a tack and low tire, went to a 3rd car, both tires flat, 4th car we had to put on our debit card with hold of $500. Had to wait an additional 30 min cause they hand to clean, sanitize and fill it up. Could have just put me in the car that was available. The company was not about the customer, but their car. By the grace of God, we got to my graduation exactly at 5:30 pm. Had no time to get to the hotel to freshen up. Just an overall awful experience. I promise I will not use this company again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst rental car company I have used in over 42 years of renting cars. Young man named Matt took over one hour to rent me a truck. The truck I was given was filthy inside and out, the air conditioning was not working, the truck had dents all over the place, and the shocks were so bad that when I went to turn, it didn't respond immediately. I also noticed that the gas tank was only half full but I was to bring it back full, so they were screwing me out out gas money along with everything else! I brought it right back to the dealership and told them to just give me a car instead but that I won't pay for anything more expensive than the rate I was given which was $90.xx total for the rental period. When I returned the Jetta that they gave me instead I was charged $187.xx for the two days. The manager Balil was extremely rude and unhelpful and would not listen to me. He insisted that I was charged $90/day instead of the rate that would have averaged out to one third of that price had I kept it all three days. I intend to reach out to corporate to get some help with this but after reading these reviews I seriously doubt anything will happen. I'm sticking with Avis from now on.

Had a very long day with Hertz corporate deliberating over the phone because the location I originally requested did not have a car one I showed up for my reservation. I had to be at my brothers wedding in an hour so I called this location and they were tremendously helpful. The hertz representative Bilal Rupani was the most helpful and respectful employee I have ever talked to and solved my predicament in a timely and professional manner. The dictionary defines superlative as the greatest and of highest order, I define superlative as Bilal Rupani.

Stay away from this place (Hertz is under the same umbrella). They charged me a $300 cleaning fee due to smoking; uh, I don't smoke. I called customer service and they said they had to get the car detailed because of smoking. I reiterated 100 times to the rep (who barely spoke Englis) that I don't smoke; I requested to speak to a supervisor because she couldn't do anything about the charge. I spoke to the manager, and he said it wasn't a smoking charge per se but it was because the outside of the car was dirty and that's why it cost $300. I asked how he could sleep at night working for a company that charges $300 to run a car through a car wash. At the end of the day, no one could really explain why I was charged $300, just that I was charged and there is nothing they can do about it. BEWARE OF THIS SHADY RENTAL COMPANY. PREPARE FOR EXTRA CHARGES THAT ARE UNWARRANTED.

Slow, slow, slow. Waited over an hours for a rental that they only started to clean 20 mins after we arrived. They clean the cars after you show up. Pitiful service.
