The equipment is subpar and my doorbell camera rarely works with my mobile app. After the install it goes downhill. They use Alert 360 for monitoring and they are garbage.My cameras pick up every little movement which would be ok if I didn't have a limited number of clips to save. My cameras would routinely run out of clips and quit recording for the rest of the month. The sensitivity was adjusted on them twice.The installer said my bill would go down after equipment was paid off. The only problem is the bill is not itemized. You can't tell what you are paying for monitoring VS equipment. No one at customer service will tell you either.Here I am almost 3 years into my contract and Alert 360 will not lower my bill as explained by my installer. Equipment is paid for and the bill doesn't go down.Even though Fort Knox told me that 3 years ago, it is a completely different company so they can easily point the finger at each other.While we are on the subject of billing, Alert 360 does not allow you to manage your billing on the Web. I switched my bank account on the website and they charged both of my bank accounts. When I called they said the only way to change your bank account is to call. We are in 2023 right.I got new windows and needed to get new window sensors but they will not allow you to register them to your panel yourself. They have to install them to the tune of almost 2k.Don't waste your time or money. They will install equipment that will work sometimes, may record or may not, but at least you won't know what you are paying for because the bill won't tell you.

I called them 3 times in a week trying to get a quote for home security services. I was put on hold each time, and although I left a VM each time, I never received a callback. I finally ended up calling another home security service provider here in Dallas and they got me fixed up with a new alarm system in just a couple of days. It makes one wonder if Fort Knox can be trusted to call the police or fire department for your home when they don't even bother to call you back about new service.

Fed up with my doorbell camera. Has been replaced two or three times. A different issue each time. Works once or twice a week. And now they are trying to charge me an $89 fee to come LOOK at it and another $200 to replace it as if I messed it up. Turns red all the time or just completely turns off!!! Tired of this on going issue. And the only reason they are charging me an $89 fee is bc we didn’t finance ANY of our equipment. Make that make sense.

I had a break in last week. My family and I have been shook to the core with anxiety. I'm a single grandmother raising 2 grandchildren, 10 years and 18 years old. Never thought after living in my home and this neighborhood for 25 years that I'd need to install security system but times are certainly changing around us. Called around to get prices. Fort Knox was hundreds of dollars cheaper with all the same bells and whistles. Our tech Jesse showed up this morning and he is absolutely the best technician/repair I've ever had show up. He went over everything prior to starting, spoke about possible upgrades and things in reference to our safety. His installation was done with care and accuracy to best protect my family. I just cannot say enough about Jesse and his personal care. When it comes to my family safety, he is certainly what we needed. If you call on Fort Knox, you will not be disappointed.

After researching and comparing several security companies on equipment and monthly service fees I found Fort Knox home security to have the most competitive monthly plan w/o contract and best equipment for the price. Sean the installer was fantastic in answering my questions and configuring exactly what I needed. Drew the sales person was also very helpful in scheduling the installation the very same day. In addition to my Dallas home I plan on installing the same system in my Austin property.

Be aware. If you ever want to cancel, they will charge you for three years worth of service. This is a scam company.

I shopped around and liked what Fort Knox had to offer, I spoke to Daniel in sales a few times before I moved ahead in my buying decision. Daniel had great customer service and was able to answer all of my questions. Jesse installed our system, he was very nice and did a good job.
