Nice nursery place with the wide varieties of asian vegetable plants, fruit trees, herbs, flower plants, etc. It’s quite spacious to walk around its outdoor space and the large indoor greenhouse. The vegetable seedlings in the greenhouse looked quite healthy. Most of plants were labeled and priced; but there were still some kinds of plants without marking the price and species. The price has been increased from $1.25 for each seedling or $18 for a tray (holding 18 seedlings) to $1.75 for each seedling or $25 for a tray nowadays.I saw one staff member in the greenhouse; she was very friendly to answer my question. However, the cashier was not quite friendly; no greeting and no smile on her face all the time.Just like some people’s complains, the parking is always the issue. It’s difficult to find the parking. There is another small parking lot in the back, but it will be better to make sure there is the parking space before you drive in, or you will need to reverse all the way out.

They have such a large selection of plants, herbs, citrus trees, and some indoor plants. It maybe hard to hunt down a worker, and if you find one, they may even ignore you - again, this is not a traditional nursery where customer service is #1, because here, the price/value is #1. For instance, I've been searching for a Satsuma citrus tree but for some reason, you can't buy/ship in Texas and someone was selling them for $100-$150 on FB marketplace, but here at Doan's I got one for $55. I also got a tray of herbs (18 starters) for $25. The plants aren't all labeled so you have to know what you're looking at, and if you don't pull out your cell phone and figure it out!

This place is wonderful. It has so many plant varieties it is a bit overwhelming! I would say only problem would be parking when its extremely packed and honestly when you drive past it you don’t realize its a plant shop, but I would recommend checking it out!

Spring planting excursion. I love Doan’s. Healthy selection of plants. Great prices. Spacious nurseries. Local rather than Big Box.

AMAZING variety of asian exotic plants you can't find anywhere else. But they could do a better job at labeling the individual plants and use signs to help you. Finding an employee to assist you is impossible. If your not able to identify plants on your own, this nursery is not for you. Parking is also a disaster so if you can shop during the week day, you are likely to have a more relaxed experience.

Good to buy vegetable plants as they are cheaper compared to Calloways. Calloways selling each small vegetable at $3.99 while they are selling at $1.99. But not good for flowers or fruit trees. I found Azalea in this place being sold at $36 - the same one which they got it from Costco and Costco selling it at $12.99. No documentation on the pots like height, width or hardiness. No labels like annual or perennial. One should not sell Jasmine in DFW area as our cold weather will definitely kill them.Mulch and Organic soil is also around 20% more expensive. But collection is huge. There is no returns or exchanges so please buy carefully.

This is my favorite nursery in this area, hands down! Prices are always reasonable and the quality is there, as well. You can find a lot of varieties of Asian veggies that are not at other nurseries. Definitely go check them out!

Vast variety of plants from seedlings to bigger trees. Beware - parking is frugal, we had to park a block away at some other shop and walk there. They have a lot of Asian and Indian plants and fruit trees.

Tip: Come as early as you can for opening. There's a really long line of cars waiting to get in the parking lot once it gets busy. Whether it's Vietnamese coriander, Thai chilis, betel leaves, or guava trees, this is the place to go to get those needed Asian herbs and tropical trees. There's also beautiful flowers as well, jasmine, dahlias, peonies, etc. It looks small from the outside but it's actually really big once you get in. There's a great assortment of fertilizer and pots as well if you need to get those. Take your parents if they love gardening. They'll be delighted with this place.

This place is massive and has many green houses in the back. Bring your walking shoes and grab a buggy. Two giant bougainvilleas for $40. Very nice customer service.

A vast variety of East Asian and Indian vegetables at a great price. Plants all look exceptionally healthy - grown right in their own greenhouses. Beautiful ornamentals too. It was a fun, exotic adventure for us go there. It was mobbed (spring planting season) and parking was a challenge but we eventually got in. No lines at checkout. It’s a BIG place.
