The Marriott Dallas Las Colinas is a very nice, modern property with 15 floors of rooms. It is located very close to DFW Airport and fairly close to downtown Dallas, as well as the Irving hotel area near the convention center and Toyota Music Factory. The hotel has a restaurant, a full bar, and a big waterside patio. The property offers a large parking lot and a multi-level parking garage, though parking can sometimes be crowded during events. Rooms are spacious and modern, big enough for a good-sized family, and often feature a great view of the lake, a big desk, a nice TV, and a big walk-in shower. The beds are comfortable. Guests note it is a beautiful hotel and can be a very affordable choice for the location. Many stays are great, with a peaceful room, a good conference, and a great overall atmosphere. Housekeeping pays attention to little things, neatly arranging personal items. Check-in is often fast, courteous, and a breeze, sometimes with an early check-in option. However, some experiences can be regrettable and uncomfortable due to unfriendly or dismissive front desk staff, a lack of personal touch, and service issues. Problems have included a down check-in system, being given a downgraded room different from the reservation, key cards that do not work, incorrect bed setups, and maintenance issues like a dark stairwell or an unplugged TV. While management can be very accommodating by offering discounted rates, drink tickets, and breakfast coupons to resolve problems, the inconsistent service leads some guests to state they will book somewhere else next time or cannot recommend the hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel situated in a convenient area. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The room appointments and amenities are what you would expect out of a classy hotel chain such as this. It was a perfect choice for the holiday season!
