After calling around for a small form factor power supply, I came across this place where I was told "absolutely, we have several of these"I drove the 25 miles to find a decrepit store. The guy there googled to the backroom to rummage through piles only to say they don't have any.What a waste of time.

The owner Jimmy is nice, I just wish when I brought my computer in he did not try to keep my GPU stand and my motherboard M.2 shells that is there to protect my components from dust. Not only can I not find a replacement for my specific motherboard, but he defended his decision to keep them with a "well you don't need that". It is up to me if I need that and as a computer specialist you should know the shells are there to protect my components from dust and regardless it is mine! Don't pick and choose to keep customers computer parts!!It is just strange to do this and I can't say I will return for future computer maintenance. Don't take my stuff and never tell me they are missing until I bring it up.3/5: they did fix my computer but kept hardware.

This is the only computer store in the metroplex I trust - MUST READ. Earlier this year I had a hinge go out on my laptop. I called other local shops and sight-unseen they said they'd need to order a new frame from the manufacturer, hundreds of dollars and months in the shop. I called a major retailer with GeekSquad and they told me "We know how to fix it - it's a known issue. You need to run screws through the frame into the screen itself. Our corporate policy won't let us do it due to the risk though." I called Jimmy and described the issue - and he had the same conclusion. He told me he could have it done in an afternoon. $99 to do what others can't or won't. Later this year the other side started to go out, I told him about this and he fixed the other side for just $20 AND he had it done in 2 hours so I could get it on my lunch break.Cannot recommend this location more highly. Yeah there's constant construction in front of the place, it's worth it. Might be easier to park at the church next door and walk over!

Jimmy has been doing an excellent job of keeping all our computers up and running very well. We have bought several from him and all have been great. He has a large inventory of desktops, laptops and gaming computers. Very nice man to work with.

I've been to The Computer Store a few times because Mr. Dean repairs computers for a fair price. He also has a good selection of reasonably priced computers for sale. I highly recommend this business.
