While not the cheapest solution, I was looking at a long term investment. I contacted five other companies and two just never showed up to the appointment. The other three were cheaper, but the warranty was short and I had no confidence they would be around for the long haul. Time will tell if I made the right choice, but the install was perfect and communication was good.

I would highly recommend Big Bully Turf. Kyle was great to work with, extremely knowledgeable about the product and the crew did an amazing job installing the turf and pavers.

Beware of this company. I signed a contract with them and waited around for them to call to set up the order. Ricco called and treated me like I was a dead beat because you owe them 40%. Ricco is the most un-professional person on that team, wouldn't allow him on my property. There payment plan is
10% at contract signing, 40% to order the material then final payment when they start. They want to paid in full before they finish. They make promises and never keep them as well. It cost me 10% and No work has been done. Void this group like the plague. I have to give 1 star just so I can post and Negative star wasn't an option
UPDATE: No response from them or to try to resolve the issue with them. They took my deposit and ran. They are not a Customer Service Base after they get a signed contract and your 10% Deposit. Don't Give Them Money Upfront.
Update #2: Still No Phone Call or any response from Big Bully Turf. They took my Deposit and ran off with it. They could care a less about solving the issue but only to forget about it since they have my 10% deposit.

My installation date keeps getting postponed…. and I’m working with 3 different people that are all very nice, but I don’t feel like anyone is in charge nor communicating properly with each other. They seem to be using 3rd party installers as well that won’t be familiar with the project until the minute they show up on site. I’m hoping they figure out a way to get my project started soon and I will certainly update my review, but I’ve already paid almost half now and getting nervous that I chose the wrong company. If this is my experience before the install, what will the service be like if I need anything during the warranty period? I truly hope I’m wrong and it’s just my bad luck causing the issues.
---- Update: Installation went terribly sideways and I am very dissatisfied with my experience and the outcome of my putting green. At this point I have worked with 5 different people and everyone tells me something different. I spent entirely too much money for this to not have come out perfect. I am really sad about the whole thing and regretting my choice of putting green companies. That being said, I really did like the sales rep. He was the only one that actually plays golf and understood what I wanted. He was very detailed oriented and drew up the design perfectly, but the plan just was not executed properly.

We were pretty fed up with the turf dealers that we had contacted for bids on our yard UNTIL we totally lucked out and found Big Bully Turf. From the moment we sat with James to discuss our project we knew we had found the right company. James created a dream landscape for us with stone and turf that was so fantastic, we still can't believe it. The entire process, start to finish was a dream. The crew that did the install was so talented and fast that we were blown away. The follow up was exceptional and we have had several neighbors already ask us about our gorgeous new space. The bonus was that this female owned company brought the bid in with the hard-scape at an unbelievably competitive price. The actual turf itself is beyond beautiful. Go ahead and collect all your bids from the other guys and then call this company. Or just save yourself the hassle and call Big Bully Turf first. Be prepared to be thrilled! We are!

I received an invitation to have an estimate, and I reached out to them and asked for one. I got a return call from a phone number from California. I texted with the guy and he said he couldn't come out because it was raining. I guess they don't have rain in California but anyway he said he was gonna come later in the day. He texted me later in the day and said he had a couple installs that he couldn't he couldn't come that day And I said I'm just looking for an estimate. Why don't you just leave an estimate here when you get a chance just for the front and we'll take it from there. I haven't heard from him again. So I'm gonna use some local folks instead of folks from California who treat people in Texas like they're garbage and are afraid of rain. Since this is a new company, I would strongly suggest that the proprietor find some people that are representing them the follow through on their appointments .

Big Bully is a great product and Mike Zelke did a great job designing and explaining everything . He was able to get the project completed quickly and looks great! Highly recommend Big Bully and Mike Zelke!

Overall it was a good experience. There were some communication breakdowns when it came to scheduling the actual install, but my sales rep was able to step in and get it resolved.
The wife and kids love the look and feel. Our sales rep Kyle was great as well, always available to chat and discuss, and put my wife’s concerns at ease. We asked a lot of questions before, during and after and the team took the time to answer all of them in detail.
Overall a good experience and so far we are enjoying the “new” backyard.

Kyle was able to create the exact look we wanted and we love it! Sean and his team did a one-day installation job, the crew was great to work with, asked questions to ensure the areas were properly trimmed to fit a curved wall that wasn’t built yet. The whole experience was great and our dogs and grandkids love it too.

Working with Kyle and his crew to make our backyard oasis come to life has truly been a dream come true. We had such steep slopes and terrible erosion around our entire pool and backyard area that we simply did not use the yard. Now we have a level yard with lots of play places for all of those summer games. The team did an amazing job transforming our outdoor living space to extend our oasis landscape! We love being on the turf and in the yard anytime that we can be outside now. I love the feel of the turf - it’s beautiful! Thank you Big Billy Turf!

Big bully turf transformed my yard. It looks so good. It turned out better than I hoped it would. The customer service was amazing and the salesman Matt was very helpful and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Definitely call big bully turf if you are looking for turf.

Wow! I don't usually write reviews, but had to share my experience with this awesome company. Mike Zelke was the salesperson who expertly designed my putting green. His knowledge about golf greens and installation of turf far surpassed any other company I had talked to and the design he came up with was just what I was looking for. 10/10 highly recommend!
