I've been going to this store since it opened several years ago and have never had a complaint until now. I don't know the name of the clerk but he's a new person there, has a beard, and in my opinion a bad attitude. Recently I asked him to order me a new accelerator pedal for my car. The part took nearly 3 weeks to arrive and I never received a call from anyone to let me know that the part was there. When I came over this afternoon to pick up the part I noticed right away that it was the wrong part. The mistaken part or the three weeks delivery isn't why I'm unhappy. I'm unhappy because "beard guy" told me that I had given him the part number to order...effectively "gaslighting" me, the customer. Now how would I know what the part number would be? There's no way I would know that. I only can provide you with the year/make/model of my car and a description of the part that I need. Now if the computer kicks out the wrong part with that information then someone just needs to fix their database. That is no big deal. Blaming me, your customer, for your (or your computer's) mistake? Well, here's my answer to that: I'm taking my business to an entirely different auto parts store. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of poor attitude by your staff.

Like a kid in a candy/toy store! Love me some auto zone. Can't complain almost ever. Sometimes there is a green sleeve in there that just needs a bit more experience or to learn how to say 'I don't know' rather than giving false info. But that's maybe 1 time out of 15.

Went into the store 10/27 around 11:50am. It was two workers and I was the only customer: I asked for a diagnostics test since myengine light was on. Jovan did not want to run my diagnostics test; instead she insisted that she gives me directions on how to do so myself. I respectfully told her I don’t feel comfortable doing her job and that I wasn’t going to do it myself. Jovan stated that she wasn’t going to come outside so I politely left and drove out to Advanced Auto parts on Belt line, where the manager didn’t have a problem with coming out the store to do the test.

Our local Auto Zone is always busy with lots of associates to answer questions & serve as counter help. I, as a woman, have always felt at ease asking questions & or getting help with the installation of a battery or having a diagnostic test done on my cars.
