I've been going to this store since it opened several years ago and have never had a complaint until now. I don't know the name of the clerk but he's a new person there, has a beard, and in my opinion a bad attitude. Recently I asked him to order me a new accelerator pedal for my car. The part took nearly 3 weeks to arrive and I never received a call from anyone to let me know that the part was there. When I came over this afternoon to pick up the part I noticed right away that it was the wrong part. The mistaken part or the three weeks delivery isn't why I'm unhappy. I'm unhappy because "beard guy" told me that I had given him the part number to order...effectively "gaslighting" me, the customer. Now how would I know what the part number would be? There's no way I would know that. I only can provide you with the year/make/model of my car and a description of the part that I need. Now if the computer kicks out the wrong part with that information then someone just needs to fix their database. That is no big deal. Blaming me, your customer, for your (or your computer's) mistake? Well, here's my answer to that: I'm taking my business to an entirely different auto parts store. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of poor attitude by your staff.
