Good evening, having been a Marriott staff for a number of years I exclusively stay at Marriott! My first property was Marriott Mandalay in Las Colinas (omni bought it) This review is not about me just giving a little history. This review is about oneMr. Joseph Henry, very professional, engaged , offered options, walked me to the room to view it with me (as opposed to pointing or saying here is the key it is down the on the left side) #110, talked, smiled, versatile in his multi tasking, attire was more than appropriate at both check in and check out (3 weeks with Marriott) Come on this young man deserves to hear this out loud. The gym was ready to go for a quick 15 minute workout prior to me getting dressed for a weddingThe ladies did a darn good job on the room!!! They were tipped. It is always left in the center of the bed for them to know that it is theirsThe pool was refreshing after coming back from the weddingLoved the fireplace (could not figure how to turn on the firepit)Although they only spoke Spanish the ladies were kind enough to direct me to the ice machine on the 5th floor. Once up there the supv/inspectress helped me to access the door for some iceAlthough we did not have breakfast. The area was colorful, fresh items and well thought outThe pool table, The games & UNO cards LoL!!!!!!I/We will recommend and come backLastly and most important. This was a first time stay at an ALoft porperty. Thank you - Muchos GraciasRooms: Extremely clean and FRESHSafety: The desk was attentive. Not a lot of people coming in and outWalkability: Everything!!!!!!!!!!

Room have strange layout. Bathrooms have no privacy they are right as you walk in with no door. They acoustics are very bad.Shampoo, conditioner and body wash have a very funky smell, so bring your own.My TV was popping in cracking like the 4th of July and air conditioner was extremely loud.

Fairly convenient for DFW transit and meetings. Awesome friendly staff and beautiful efficient rooms. Hip decor and nice lap pool. Walkable to restaurants and convenience stores.

They are modern but the halls smell like mildew covered in perfume. When you walk through the halls there is trash and trash bags full of garbage like as if housekeeping started to clean and got distracted and didn't finish. The carpet in the halls needs to be re-stretched. And sometimes the staff can be a little rude, like if you go ask them something they show attitude like they are being inconvenienced. I used to stay here all the time for years due to work travel, and I have requested not to be booked here unless it is absolutely necessary and the Westin and Marriott are full.Edit- I like how the owner said I should bring up concerns immediately. I AM LITERALLY STAYING AT THE HOTEL NOW. And I guess they missed the statement about when you talk to the staff they are rude and act like they are being inconvenienced.....Rooms: The rooms are okay.Nearby activities: There is lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, thanks to it's proximity to the Toyota Music Factory.Walkability: There are several fast food places next door to the hotel.Food & drinks: They have a bar and a sundry with breakfast options, but you have to pay for them.Noteworthy details: Dated and kind of dirty

Clean, safe, and had everything we needed. Within walking distance to restaurants, Starbucks, and a short drive to a large dining and shopping center. The staff were very nice and extremely accommodating. Would stay here again.

Clean rooms and common areas. Service was a little below par. However, could be that I checked in late and they were tired. Who knows. However, it is located near the urban district minutes from the Toyota center.

Still great, all amenities still available. I wish the TV's got upgraded to accommodate the size of the room

Aloft hotels take a modern approach to room layouts, designs, and color palates. This location in Las Colinas is no different. Nice view of their pool on the backside, but still looking at a huge parking lot. Convenient to many restaurants, gas , banking, and toll ways.Friendly staff and a quick refresh center located in the lobby. It's reasonably priced for the amenities you get.Rooms: Spacious and clean.

It was a cool experience to finally be able to stay at an Aloft. The downstairs lobby area looked pretty cool and lively. The fitness center looked nice too. The room was pretty cool looking, although the bathroom area was non traditional with a siding pocket door, but the shower was modern and they provided huge bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I'm not sure if the price is up to par with what you get, even though it looks cool. Still, the furnishings were in good shape, and nothing felt worn out here. A modern experience set up. Great location as the area is safe and has some good restaurants.

I recently stayed here with 16 friends and family from all over the country. The location is perfect. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious. The lobby bar and lounge area was perfect to hang out and grab a drink, play pool and just relax.I am already planning my trip back!!

This was a perfectly nice little place to stay.Pros: Newer, stylish, good location.Cons: No drawers in the rooms only shelves (part of the "loft feel" by design I suppose. )No restaurant on site although there are a number close by.Owing partly to the design listed above, the ironing board is located in the strangest place in a cubby on the other side of the bed. Very hard to find.If you just want a sort of of nice place to stay for the night with coffee in the lobby, this place is fine. I wouldn't stay here more than a night or two at the most.
