Best ice cream selection around. Only issue is the close to early. So if your traveling late I suggest stop in meridian for gas and snacks there's a 24hr truck stop gas station

Great fried catfish. Highly recommend. If you're in a hurry Friday night might not be a good idea. Prices still are reasonable.

I highly recommend this place if you like/love fried catfish!!! This is the BEST!! If you're traveling on Hwy 6, between Hico and Meridian, you must stop here!!!!

Their fish is DELICIOUS!!! I order it a lot. Unfortunately, they scrimp on sides and sauce for to-go orders. So, order the fish for sure. It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Old school cool. Small town (pop 339) Cafe , 20 minutes SW of Glen Rose. Best fried catfish in Texas!

A step back in time to the local country cafe. Fried catfish o-plenty on a Friday night, with healthy portions for side. The price is right and the service was great.
