So sad to say goodbye to Hye Thai. We've been going every chance we can from since they were in Johnson City and have always had a great food and service

Wanted to like this place but the pad see ew was unbelievably salty. Tasted like the noodles were just drowned in soy sauce. The pad woon sen was also very salty but not as much.
The servers were very nice though.

If you are looking for some seriously amazing fresh food and a great space to relax, pick Hye Thai. Very friendly service and good food, and if you like spice, they’ve got it.

No trip to Fredericksburg can be complete without eating here. Do it before the wine tasting or after.

We have been here a couple of times but when we went this last Sunday it was disappointing. The food wasn't bad but wasn't as great as it was the other times we have been here. But what really was uncomfortable was how tense it felt between staff that day. There was a lady working who looked to be in her 40s or so a younger girl who looked to be in her 20s. The older lady was being quite rude to the younger lady, she seemed very passive aggressive. Then a young man was putting up wine glasses when the older lady jumped up and said something to him, I'm not sure if he ignored her or said something she didn't like and she forcefully pushed the kitchen door open and started yelling at him. It was very uncomfortable and awkward. This experience left a bad taste in our mouths, we might not be back for a while.

I love the fact that their spicy, is actually Thai spicy. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and professional.

It's good, but they nickel and time you for extras. Like peanut sauce. Things like that.

Always delicious food!! We've been here several times and have never been disappointed. The Chili Garlic Udon with chicken is the best! Service is always good.

Hye Thai is our favorite spot in the area—hands down. The food is consistently excellent, with a solid variety of dishes to choose from. We’ve never had a bad meal here. They recently added Pad See Ew and Pad Woon Sen, two of our go-to favorites, and they nailed them. The service is always friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is just as warm—laid-back, welcoming, and full of good energy. Great people, great food. Highly recommend this family-run gem.

I am not a Thai person, but the food was delicious. Staff was friendly, service was fast and accurate. One of the other benifits it next to a chocolate factory!!!

An absolute treat!! You won’t regret going, the food is amazingly delicious!! Our waitress Hannah was awesome, her attentiveness was top tier!!!! I enjoyed the Cucumber Salad as an appetizer and the Fried Chicken Bowl for my entree, the wings were awesome too!!! I don’t normally enjoy being on the patio, but the experience was so serene and the live music was relaxing and a nice treat!! The owner greeted us and made sure we were totally satisfied. Kudos to Hye Thai owner and staff!!!! I’ll definitely be back!!!!
