This is the WORST Walgreens EVER! Do not bring your business here! You will wait in line forever just to get to the window for them to say “I'm on lunch break” or We are closing due to no staff! They are unprofessional and rude! They tried to charge me for my Rx lied and said they don't take BCBS. I will never patronize them again.

Very Unhappy with Walgreens Pharmacy
I have been increasingly disappointed with Walgreens Pharmacy. On multiple occasions, I have attempted to call for information about medications, only to be placed on hold with a message stating I’m “next in line,” then abruptly hung up on. The hold times have been excessively long—often over an hour.
I’ve started transferring my prescriptions to H-E-B Pharmacy because they consistently provide better service. When I call H-E-B, they answer promptly, address all my concerns, and even assist with discounts on medications, such as offering GoodRx coupons when prescriptions are expensive.
Most recently, I was extremely frustrated when my doctor mistakenly sent a prescription to Walgreens instead of H-E-B, despite my prior request. Knowing my insurance was expiring at the end of the month, I tried calling Walgreens to pick up the prescription before the cutoff. After more than an hour on hold, I couldn’t get through, and my doctor confirmed the prescription had accidentally gone to Walgreens.
Last night was the final straw. After spending another hour on hold trying to inquire about a $400 prescription and seeking guidance on discounts like GoodRx, my husband and I drove to Walgreens. Despite three employees being present and a minimal number of customers in the store, none of them answered the phone. When I finally spoke to the clerk, I asked if a certain solution could be bought over the counter. She said no but would notify the pharmacist. Already frustrated from the long hold and the drive, I asked her to use GoodRx to reduce the cost of my completed prescriptions. Thankfully, I managed to get the cost down to around $100 and planned to return the next day for the solution.
The following day, I returned, only to be told I needed to wait another 25 minutes for the solution. After wasting time in the store, the same clerk informed me the solution was actually available over the counter—something she could’ve told me the night before. This was beyond frustrating.
I will never use Walgreens Pharmacy again. From now on, I will stick with CVS or H-E-B, where the customer service is far superior.
As for Walgreens in general, I used to rely on them for photo orders, but even that has been a disappointment lately. The app constantly lags, forcing me to remain in the app for all photos to load and approve. On top of that, my last three photo orders were canceled without explanation after receiving confirmation that they were being processed. When I reached out, the customer service representative was polite but helpless, saying this issue had happened to him too and offering no solution other than to resubmit the order, which I did multiple times—only for the orders to be canceled again.
I am incredibly disappointed with Walgreens.

Updated review!
I originally had this place at 1 star. Updated to 4 star. I have not had a single problem with them over the past 8-12 months. Must be new pharmacists and techs there. Maybee new management? Idk what changed but they have been on the ball the past 8-12 months. I use to have to always call to get anything done…. Not lately though. Makes my life easier!

Worst pharmacy and end pharmacist I have ever dealt with. Every month its something different picking up my prescriptions. Not time or charging it to the wrong insurance provider. It has been a workman's comp issue for over 7 years. They keep charging my private insurance. What makes it bad is my physician shows me the prescription every month that states it's WC. And they argue about it. Customer service is at the bottom of anyone I have ever had to deal with. This will be the last time I waste my time, next month I will start taking my business elsewhere. First rule of business, take care of your customers or someone else will.

Exceptionally poor service! I set up my prescription for delivery last Thursday.It was 2 day delivery so the prescription should have been delivered on Monday. Today is Tuesday and I had to call and complain about a failed delivery. They assured me at 9 am that the meds would delivered within an hour. At 3:30 I am still waiting for the prescription delivery. It was finally delivered just before 5 pm. I am guessing their idea of one hour is different than mine. They also charged me quadruple for the meds. I called them back and they insist that they didn't since this was a refill I knew how much should be billed. I called about it and they insisted that they didn't bill me incorrectly. I called my insurance and got the actual cost. So I can dispute the charge with my bank. This is the last time I use Walgreens. They really can't get their pharmacy act together. Don't use this Walgreens if you actually need medicine. I am switching to another pharmacy. They don't deserve even 1star and really management does not care.

My doctor told me my prescription was sent immediately, so I went to grab it. When I got there, they tried everything to find it, only for us to realize they hadn’t received it yet. But I was grateful that they tried so hard for me! When it was available, they were very friendly and gave all the information quickly, efficiently, and got me on my way.

This place is GOD AWFUL. The pharmacy techs are so unpleasant. So so very slow. You have to devote at least 30-45 minutes to simply pick up a med. They won’t be able to find my prescription because it’s misplaced for some reason then turn around and treat me with attitude like it’s MY fault. Then the pharmacist takes their sweet time signing off on it so i can go on my merry way. I leave this place angry every single time. Flat out rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. It’s not my fault y’all are short staffed. Don’t treat me like it is.

insanely bad pharmacy. quick story. I require a particular brand of medication it is both on the prescription and my profile in walgreens system. the other brands make me nautious and 8/10 times result in me vomiting. This was told to walgreens for the last 2 months. refil time comes along they only have a partial (4 of 60) amd need to order the rest. no problem. I am told on MONDAY it will be in the next day. Tuesday the automated system calls says its ready I drive down wait on 30 minite line. when i get to the front I'm told this is the automated system it made an error it wouldn't be ready till WEDNESDAY. annoyed but no problem I explain to the pharmacy clerk no problem but I am going away on Friday for the weekend. they assure me it will be there. Wednesday I have a voicemail it's ready I go after work wait on line for 40 minutes. when I get to the front guess what. "someone" made a mistake they have 3 other brands but not mine and no record of order was there so it would be MONDAY. now I'm super annoyed but I have extra thank God. I go away come back on Monday I get a call the order is delayed and it will be WEDNESDAY. now I'm pretty pissed but at this point I'm over it. finally get a call on FRIDAY to come get it. I wait in line 30 minutes again (drive thru) this time. when I get the front they were all apologies they assure me next month it will be different. I drive home check the bag ITS THE WRONG BRAND. they gave me the brand they had the whole time. so I call back furious and am now told because I took the medication through the drive through it can no longer be returned. I will be reporting to the BBB amd pharmacy board. save time and money go elsewhere.TLDR;4 people (3 and an automated system) failed to give me the correct brand of medication that is on both the prescription and my walgreens profile and I am now stuck with it, after multiple calls and 2 weeks worth of hassle. save your time and money go to HEB or people's pharmacy. I have this month and not had a single issue.

Rude cashiers at the back and middle counters. Dania and the other young man working in photo are absolutely RUDE!!! They need training on how to greet and speak to your customers.

Unnecessarily long waits and unoptimized processes.First and foremost my experience with the staff has always been good. They are just understaffed.1: Severely understaffed.2: Automated messages are not synced with reality. Multiple times I’ve received messages that my prescriptions were ready only to wait in line for 20 minutes and find out that my prescriptions were not in fact ready.I do not recommend using them and would instead recommend using the CVS. Staffing is better hence wait time is dramatically reduced. I’ve never had any mix ups with them either.
