“We have used Reids for over 20 years after a bad experience with Jack Brown, mostly in NW Austin. We moved to Round Rock and have used the RR location since. My wife, an attorney, had a bag of five items picked up at her office, which was her typical process. They returned three. When my wife insisted there were five, Reids kept telling her it was impossible because their system was flawless, basically calling my wife a liar. They asked my wife for a photo of the clothes: who takes photos of their clothes before sending them to be cleaned. Then, a week later, my wife went to her office on a Saturday and found the fourth item hanging on the outside door knob, as the office was obviously closed. It would have spent the weekend hanging outside had she not come in. Meanwhile, the fifth item remains missing. As you can see below, there are two other recent one star reviews that Reids has ignored. Businesses that truly care about their customers respond quickly to all reviews, especially negative one. We are still waiting for the General Manager of Reids in central Texas to contact us about finding the fifth item or offering compensation. Otherwise, we are done with Reids and we suggest to readers not to do business with a company that clearly does not care about its customers.

ADDITION: The Reid's owner contacted me and worked assiduously to successfully located one item and fairly compensate us for a lost item. Mistakes happen but when a business owner works to rectify a mistake, it is clearly commendable. Thanks, Karl.”

“This place is pretty reliable on getting things done on time. I had a white jumpsuit that had to be sent back for a redo because it still had some stains but they fixed it for free!”

“We stopped by this facility during our 4-day trip in Round Rock. The facility was immaculate with plenty of washing machines and dryers available for use. You have the option to use either coins or cards as a payment method to operate the machines. The most expensive washing machine I used was $5.75 and least was $3.75. I'm not sure why, but I used two identical machines and paid $4 for the second one. I think there was a $0.25 credit remaing on the first machine. If I recall correctly, I believe I saw $4 on the next few machines. I passed out and my wife put the clothes in the dryer. She said the dryers are $0.25 for every three minutes.

There were two large screen televisions mounted in the facility, although they were not on. I did not notice if one was mounted on the wall above where I was seated. There were two vending machines: one for snacks and one for laundry items, as well as single occupancy restrooms, one for ladies and one for men. A beverage vending machine would have been nice. The lady working at the facility was very nice. She was of great assistance when my wife was having some issues with one of the machines. After some troubleshooting, we found out that you cannot use Navy Federal Credit Union Cards as a payment method. We switched cards and we were in business.

I noticed a sign that they offer a wash & fold service that can be delivered through Door Dash. Things have really progressed since the last time I was at a laundromat. The only thing that was missing from this laundromat that I'm used to was the arcade games. These were always great time killers while waiting for the clothes to wash and dry.”

“Such nice people at this location, and JBC does not burn buttons (something I've had issues with at other cleaners).Occasionally the collars are bunched if I have a large drop-off, but otherwise always friendly, on-time, good quality.”

“It is pricey, but so is having a washer and dryer. Our dryer is currently needing repairs so I brought all my laundry here. While doing my washing, the employee was on a stool scrubbing out the detergent dispensers. I thought this place was clean and staff was friendly. They provide plenty of entertainment for both kids and adults.”

“This is going to be a bit of a strange one, so bear with me….I took a rather expensive article of clothing to this cleaner last Wednesday to be dry cleaned. It was my first time using them. Long story short, when I picked the item up on Monday, it was rather significantly damaged. The item was, in my opinion, ruined (to be fair, it could probably still be worn, but it was Gucci. Who wants to wear damaged Gucci? Lol). I went back in on Wednesday morning after discovering the damage and spoke with the very polite and apologetic lady who was running the shop at the time. What I discovered was from the time I dropped off my items and the cleaning was completed, to when I picked them up on Monday, ownership of the company had changed. This made some confusion for the damage claim.Long story short, within hours, the new owner, Karl, was reaching out to me via phone. This gentleman whomin absolutely NO fault of his own inherited this situation absolutely went above and beyond to ensure it was rectified. Karl was incredibly kind, apologetic, and generous, and ensured the situation was rectified to my satisfaction. It would have been so easy for him to say “I just bought this place; not my problem.” But he didn’t, and in my opinion, that speaks VOLUMES about the character of this business owner.I know that there will be a new cleaning process/new cleaners in place that will ensure things like this don’t happen. I will absolutely be returning based solely on the fact that this business has morals, upstanding character, and FAR above average customer service skills.Hands down 5/5 based SOLEY on the new ownership.”

“I have a 25 lb weighted woven blanket, and this is the only place nearby that will clean it. I have taken it 3 times over the past 6 years, and I never had any issues. They are always friendly, too.”

“What's to say it's a great economical way to wash and dry your clothes
I did not see any signs that a wash n fold service was available.
During my visit I used (4) of the Triple front loading washers (3 50) each.
I then used (6) dryers (1.25) each.
Not one problem with any of their machines.
The thing to remember here is for optimal drying. It is best if you do not over burden the machines.
You will get much better results.
I will agree that the air conditioning system could use some help.
The mini split is a nice touch but barely does what it is designed to do, Cool the air. The ceiling fans help with circulation but that's about it
Only gripe is the pop machine (buck) is not heard of and the ownergets 5 starsfor helping the little man in this respect. I was looking for something to quench my thirst and despite trying to deposit my coinage, it rejected each one.
Great overall experience and well definitely be back.
