Today August 22, 2024! I am happy today. Christian Brothers Automotive in Hutto made right on previous service. They did it professionally, with kindness, and amazingly with gratitude! Gratitude, I left feeling honored that Christian Brothers took care of my Hutto ISD patrol car. They replaced a defective strut from the manufacture. When warranty work is done, do to no fault of theirs, they take a hit on the labor cost. Hutto Christian Brothers is a place where you can spend your hard earned dollars and feel comfortable about having spent those dollars at a place that will honor you, with professional kindness, and a good word. They have warm cookies too.
PREVIOUS: I can only assume that the work was done well. The staff is helpful and very polite. My concern was the lack of due care not taken securing my patrol unit overnight. I found my police car left unlocked and oil stains on the inside door panel, driver side. The interior color is tan, so the new stains stand out. The driver seat was also stained with oil, and dirty oily grime left on my steering wheel. They pulled out the OBD II port, and did not store it away when finished using it, like the way they found it, just like another cable, used for the RADAR, they pulled and left it handing in the same way as the OBD port. I didn't mind having to clean up after them, but for the amount of cash that was spent, maybe they could have used better care prior to releasing the patrol car back to me. So what is their policy? The customer cleans up after them and puts their messes back in place?

August 19,2024: I dropped off my truck for inspection and left it for the day. Everyone was nice and REALLY wanted me to have a cookie. This experience was better.

Months ago, I tried a walk-in appointment for state inspection. They were busy, scheduled me for later in the day, but recommended I schedule online for my next inspection. Cool. Last week, days in advance, I scheduled for another vehicle. I never heard from anyone, but arrived for my scheduled appointment. They didn't have me in the system, but could schedule me in for 3 days later. Not cool.

I got off work a little late but really needed to get an inspection done since my registration is about to expire.
I walked in 15 minutes till close and asked them if they have time for an inspection.
Arahon, With no hesitation at all said yes!
They got me in and out of there and while I waited they offered fresh chocolate chip cookies that were delicious!
They have an awesome crew. I highly recommend coming here to these guys!

I recently had my car serviced at Christians Brothers Automotive, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The mechanic was professional, thorough, and completed the job ahead of schedule. Lacks value. ~300 dollars for a diagnosis. Diagnosis fee does not go towards repairs. Attempted to quote replacement of AC expansion valves (no need) along with condenser (needed) Took car to specialist shop and had all work completed for less than $500. Shop preys on convenience. Likely would have completely work effectively at 4x the best rate. Does offer cookies though. I would avoid (not at all costs).
