If you find an injured wild bird or a baby bird bring it there. They have professional staff who took care of the bird that fell out of the nest and the bird was very relaxed and allowed them to take care of it. It was a whole different energy! Also, please donate if you can to save Texas wildlife.I hope he is doing fine.

Heroic community service! A different kind of Mr. Rogers!!! We found 5 yellow crowned night herons on our backyard during storm cleanup. Unfortunately, 3 were already dead. My wife and son tried feeding them unsuccessfully. Now we know they are going to be alright.Thankyou for your service. I wish you luck.

So grateful for the helpful and friendly people at Rogers Wildlife ?? Leslie and Mary helped us with an orphaned baby Finch …who now has joined an instant finch family of babies ❤️. This place is AMAZING! Please consider donating money, sending items on their Amazon wish list or just drop in for a visit! You will be amazed at all the beautiful peacocks, blue herons, geese, turkeys , vultures and even beautiful birds of prey! A wonderful experience and worth the drive to Hutchins, Tx!

God bless this place! I drove from Sachse to their location to drop off an injured baby dove (?) that was brutalized by a crow. It was a bit of a drive, but am grateful they are willing to care for the baby bird. Thank y’all!

You can tell the people here care! We dropped off a white tail dove and Kelly expertly assessed, cared for and let us see the bird when she was done. They placed the bird in a small cage with water and food on top of a carrier. Shirley (sry if I misheard your name) had some good jokes and educated us about the property all shortly before closing. Not a single rude word from anyone. Not enough people care in the world for the smaller animals but everyone there seemed eager to help. They are bird people not small mammal or residential animal people. And a non-for-profit. I wouldn't put much weight on the negative reviews they have been given by some reviewers here. It's hard to find a place that is running and cares about its animals. Glad to support them. We'll be back for some self guided tours and to see what's new at Roger's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.

We took a little guy here. We found a little bird in the alley with a mangled leg. We took him here and there was a women who accepted him and she was way into birds and also shared her love of reptiles. I hope little guy pulled through. The kids did end up naming him Lil beak. p.s there is a goose who DOES guard a fence and draws a line on the ground when you pass. Dont worry. just emit dominance as you pass and you'll be fine

I volunteered to take an injured bird to the rehab. I was able to drop the bird off without any problems. I didn’t know the rehab existed, but it’s perfect for rescuing wildlife, especially birds.
