AVOID this place at all cost! It is a complete waste of time. They say that your machine is repaired but it is NOT! Only guarantee their work for 90 days, work that they actully do not do. Complete waste of time and money.

My daughter and I just took a sewing class here. So much fun! Jeanie and Doug were just wonderful. We learned a lot and the class prices are very affordable. We’re looking forward to taking more classes. If you’re interested in sewing, need sewing supplies, machines or repairs, this place is great.

Horrible place. Very unhelpful staff slightly rude The lady acted like I was wasting her time and she new nothing to answer my questions or be any help. Im new to sewing and embroidery and thats . I would leave a negitive rating if I can.

Needed my embroidery machine tuned up, and I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get it in, and have it working and ready to go the next day! Saved me so much stress. I look forward to coming back for machine tune ups knowing I wont have to be without them for long!

It's always a good time at Richland! Everything I came to get was available, plus so many things I didn't know I needed! It's worth the drive, especially since Dallas doesn't have a Pfaff dealer anymore

I authorized a fixed amount to have my serger cleaned and repaired. Two weeks later (March 27, 2023) I received a phone call advising me of the amount due which was $50 more than what I had authorized. No one called me to have me authorize the additional $50. I would have said "No."April 1, I talked to the service technician and I expressed my frustration. I asked if he could remove all the new parts and allow me to pick up my serger for no cost, given that I did not authorize the additional costs and that the machine would not work. He agreed. I advised the technician that I will come by on Saturday to pick up my non-working machine. April 1, I purchased the same serger (same brand, same model) on Amazon, brand new, for $2 less than the cost of the quoted repair. April 5, B.J. advised me that Richland Sewing Center would not authorize what was agreed to. I was told that they would honor the estimate. I was advised that the technician did not have the authority to tell me that I could pick up the machine with the removed parts for no cost. I was told that I can pay $80 which was their cost of labor to put on the parts that I did not authorize. I declined this offer.

Warm and wonderful! Richland Sewing Center has the best selection of Brother, Pfaff, Viking and Janome sewing machines and sergers plus beautiful fabric and fun classes. I like the friendliness and courtesy I always receive just by walking in the door! I love their personal touch which makes me feel so special! And they have the most reliable sewing machine repair center in town! I have been doing business with this shop for close to 30 years and I highly recommend them!

I was so happy to find a place with good reviews that lived up to them. The service in store was amazing. They serviced my 10 year old machine that had never been serviced and it is like new. The cost was worth it and I had it back in less than a week.

If you need help with your sewing machine in any way shape or form this is the place to go. They know everything about every machine I think, that’s ever been made. So very helpful so very kind. I give the machine side a 5+.However if you go into the material side and ask for any kind of help you get an icy stare, not even words, just a stare. It’s as if you’ve asked them some offensive question. So I give that side 1 star. I’d give it a zero if I could. But combining them together I give them a three.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICEI have a new embroidery sewing machine that the needle threader was broken. I am new to the area I found this sewing machine repair shop from the reviews. James repaired my machine in a day was very reasonable and courteous. Everyone there wore masks and it was a pleasure to see inside. As soon as my vaccine for COVID is done I will see if they have classes available to people. It was a very professional but a friendly place to go.

There was a time that I purchased everything from Richland Sewing Center, but not any more. The last few times I was in there I was met with rude customer service people who were only interested in helping me if I were buying a new machine. They expressed no interest in helping me find what I needed. I don’t spend my time and money on any business who meets my needs with rude inexperienced staff. I now buy everything including my new Luminaire from another dealer!. A little further, but at least they appreciate my business!
