Avery is the best rc enthusiast/shop owner I've ever met. Like seriously nice guy. My kid was smiling like he is now when we went to the shop and my nephew has joined in. 9 hours in one day. Didn't even ask for a break or their Nintendos none of it. Trainville is where it's at for them. Fully recommend this to enhance your kids imagination over their tablets and such. Time to clean out the shed for a dedicated train room. Avery thank you so much again for your help with the axle repair and see you soon! Gonna need a lot of street lamps!

One of the last true train, hobby shops in the nation, and definitely a place to stop if you're in the DFW area. They are well stocked up on LGB, Lionel, Bachmann, and many other brands in every scale. I've become a repeat customer over the past two years, and I am always able to find what I need since they place a big priority on having inventory in the store browsing. They have fair prices, consistent with MSRP as well as several used items at good prices. Currently, they are open seven days a week during the holiday season, but they are normally open Tuesday through Saturday.

Love this place and the people that work there. Everyone is so helpful! We have learned so much from them as we build our garden train!

Model Train Crossing is great! Not so many hobby shops anymore. And even less train stores. And even fewer that carry G scale stuff. However, they have a wide selection of manufacturers across the major gauges of model railroad. They are family owned and operated not to mention very friendly and knowledgeable. They’ve saved me a ton of time and money already and I’ve only gotten serious about getting back into model/garden railroading in the last couple of months. Can not recommend them enough. Also, if you’ve got older collections handed down, they will buy the stuff from you at fair prices.

This is a terrific little model train store located in Hurst, right off I-820 on Pipeline Dr. They have a nice eclectic variety of trains, kits, scenery and scratch building supplies for N, HO, O and G scales. If you are a model railroader and in the DFW area, it is well worth a visit!
