I ordered some handkerchiefs for a Christmas present. I ordered them a few months back starting my shopping season. I just opened them, no doubt my bad, but they were a polyester blend and not 100 percent cotton like I ordered and paid for. Of course they won't let me return them because I ordered them a few months ago. Here's the thing, If they had actually filled the order correctly I would not have this problem, and if they can not get a small order right, why would I chance a substantial order.

I bought a purse online JCPenney. I went to pick it up at Hurst JCPenney. The purse was smaller than the picture online. I immediately turned around to return the purse telling customer service I'm returning because it's too small. They had to have their manager come out to say I couldn't return the purse. I said why as I I didn't use the purse and unable to use it. She said some things can't be returned. I said where does it say that online things can't be returned. She finally complied and returned my money. I bought a better purse in the store. I looked online and it did not say anything about handbags. I think their staff needs to verify stuff to avoid ignorance. I won't purchase anything online again at JCPenney Hurst mall. I like Alliance JC Penney better. I've never had issues there with online purchases and return.

The billing dept is charging me late fees on their card that I pay on time every month. They're saying for the month of October my monthly payment went up to $53 just for that month? My monthly payment is $42 and I pay $50 and they increased to $53 causing my account to apply this crazy $$ amount late fee that customer service couldn't explain why? Spoke to another service rep with again no explanation the reason for just October monthly payment amount increase? my statement for November doesn't specify any increase for October and no late fees, but received the text of late fees? With no explanation reason why???? CARD ...BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE SHADY WAY TO GET MORE MONEY FROM CONSUMERS EVEN IF MONTHLY PAYMENTS ARE PAID ON TIME?

I am a cardholder. Was sent an email about glasses (including progressives) being $88.88 + 8% off for inflation, so I thought I'd check it out. Firstly, the store was extremely hot-no A/C. An employee told me it out and they were told they could bring fans. Secondly, I was advised out of the gate that it was only for frames under $100, and if I picked anything above that it would be at my cost. There were no frames out under $119.00-which I thought was very wrong. I picked the cheapest one I could that looked nice. Then the salesperson asked me if I just wanted a price check, wait, what?!? That should have told me to run, but I said okay. The salesperson quoted me $164 and change. I said excuse me, but I stated I wanted the $88.88 special. She proceeds to check and says-oh well if I change it to plastic lenses that drops it down to $104 and change. Excuse me? Plastic? This is why your store is failing-bait and switch, no A/C, and the shelves were bare. Perhaps this company has realized that if they do not restock they have less to clean out when they finally do close. Very sad for the employees, but this USED to be a good place to shop. Sadly, no more.

We love this JCPenney. It's the absolute best one around. It's nice, newly remodeled, very clean, and roomy. It could be a little better stocked with merchandise, but we had some good luck shopping there yesterday. Unfortunately, the restroom downstairs was horrible. It was filthy and really smelled. I have to admit, I was really shocked to find the restroom there in such awful condition. Still, I definitely recommend this JCPenney, and the entire Northeast Mall.

Very disappointed with JC Penney. JC Penney used to be my go-to store. Not anymore. There are no nice, dressy clothes. The clothes have gotten cheap and all casual. Reminds me of shopping at a dollar store but with a higher price tag. Bring back the old JC Penney. Need some nice clothes back, not cheap, over-priced rags.

New store design. Great layout, doesn’t look like 115 year old company. If they can update all the stores and make use of the space, I can see JCP turning it around.

OMG! The new Penneys is Fabulous! It's like Saks Fifth Ave. and Neiman Marcus ! I am do impressed! This is they model store, all the others will follow soon . I hope ! The original founder was a wonderful person! The is model still the same. All The JCP store are awesome! One are always treated well aaa with respect ! The Hair Salon is the best ! They do the best work and their prices are the best specially the one at Lakeline Mall Austin, Texas ! Many people were scared because JCP closed many of their stores. But as I was told it was for the best ! So they can improve their quality in general but the prices for the quality is very good!

Love this place!!! Always friendly people and the stores well lit and always clean. Unless some nasty customers in there tearing things up because they don't know how to act right in public. Staff is always working hard and always there if I need to find something or ask questions. Sephora is always fun to go in and find goodies for friends and family too! Only thing I'd say is if you could get more smart watches and tech like that. More then what you have already. White Oak Village JCPenney!!!! Loveeeeee ittt!!!

The new Penny's design is Fabulous and functional. There is a very modern/classic vibe in the store now. They have also installed an information desk which is centrally located and very convenient. Friendly staff. If you haven't seen the new format, I reccomend you give it a try. It is really organized and easy to shop.

The most s*** service I have ever received at any store. Workers were super nonchalant and didn't give a rats behind about me or anyone else in the store. I, myself, work retail, and understand how sometimes one can be tired but they were over the top. Seriously made me frustrated. Never coming back here again. Wouldn't recommend anyone else shop here either. Just terrible

I haven't been to Penney's in years. I dont even think about it when looking for items. That has changed! My grandsons were in need of some winter gear fast. Penney's popped up when searching online and had sizes I needed for coats in stock. Selection was great and prices were better. We decided to go inside instead of utilizing curbside pickup service for our online purchase......glad we did. Everything looks fresh, clean, more modern. Staff was great. I made additional purchases and they even accepted my online purchase code for an instore purchase. This revamp is on track....unlike the previous tired attempts. This time they got the look, the products and the service right.
