Terrible customer service. Rude and accusatory staff.
I sent my husband here to return a flower girl dress we ordered. We had purchased 2 options (both from Dillards) and the bride decided to go with the other dress. Wedding isn't until July. Once in the store the initial lady said no I can't return this dress it's been worn. My husband explained that both the stain and stretching on the shoulders came when we ordered the dress and asked for her manager. The manager came and started accusing my husband also. She asked him why he waited 2 weeks to return the dress (30-day return policy) and why he would buy such as expensive dress for a toddler. Why is an associate criticizing the purchasing choices of a customer for items they sell?
To me, it sounds like there is some sort of penalty on the store for accepting damaged merchandise and instead of communicating the policy to my husband they started accusing him instead. We don't need any special accommodations or exceptions. If that's your policy, then fine, we'll return the order online. Completely unnecessary to add the extra drama to the interaction.

I have a swimsuit that still has dillards tags and never been worn. Apparently the proof of purchase tag doesn't match the item bought, I don't have a receipt and the swimsuit is still being sold for full price and the customer service rep kept having to call different managers who wouldn't even come to talk to us to give a store credit or anything. At this point it's time to shop somewhere else. $130 lost and we spend lots of money here. Good job dillards
Patrick store manager wouldn't come and fix this, so what is the point of a customer service department?

My favorite Dillard’s store for over 10 years!!! Always great customer service and friendly people! I was running late and the site was closed. And I asked a guy if the door to the parking area could be open. And he said yes and opened the doors for me. I didn’t realize that he needed to unlock three doors… honestly I wouldn’t disturb him… i apologized but he was so friendly and said no problem … one of the reasons I come here for shopping even when I moved to downtown Fort Worth. Thank you so much! Your loyal customer :)

Bol in women’s shoes gave the best customer service. He was funny, he was knowledgeable of the inventory and he was present when I felt like I was being ignored by the other salesmen
