I took my Pioneer stereo for repair about 2 1/2 years ago. There was static in the balance and volume knobs and was told they needed cleaned. Also, they installed led lights which came out fine. But the static in the knobs came back within a few months. This work cost me $189.09 and was not worth it. I didn't take it back because the first time they kept me stereo for 3 months. Don't waste your time or money with this place.

The owner is a thief and a liar, pure and simple. No conscience about his dealings with a customer. He knows exactly what he's doing and relishes the opportunity to steal from a customer. Go somewhere else.

Good experience! Took my Sony tape deck I've had since 1969 in for repair. They fixed all the problems and it now plays as good as new. Very Reasonably Priced. Thanks!

The owner is as bent as a dogs hind leg(sorry dogs) Not honest, deceptive, a swindler. There is no shop technician on the staff. Left my Marantz model Nineteen for repairs. After 4 months of 'Round n Round the Mulberry Bush' I finally get an response that the tech ( a contractor tech anyone can deal with) can not work on it, pick up your unit. I pre paid him rike $65.00 fee for inspecting so he saying. My receiver looked the the magicians trick with the watch in an handkerchief, involving a hammer. There were pieces dangling parts falling down off of my Beautiful Marantz . Im like what tha hay ? He dared to tell me thats the way I brought it in when I protested he yelled at me to get out and never come back! I said gladly give me my money back, a bewildered look came upon his face as he said I charged you? I dont recall that & if i did that would cover my gas for driving it to the technicians home. Donna is sweet, but that Snidely Whiplash is rotten to the core. BUYER WET PAINT DO NOT TOUCH ! If I could post this without including these poor little stars I would , alas

I brought four pieces of stereo equipment to his shop earlier today, offered to let him examine them however he wished and I made no material misrepresentations about the equipment. He examined only one piece and then made me an offer, I made a counter offer which he accepted, he gave me cash and I brought the equipment into the store. As I was leaving he saw something about a speaker he didn't like and wanted to rescind the deal. I was within my legal rights to just walk out but perhaps foolishly I allowed him to back out. His conduct was unbusinesslike and dishonorable, and I do not want to do business with such people. I recommend that you not to do business with him either.

These guys are very knowledgeable about what they do, they are extremely helpful and they have very reasonable prices. I feel very confident when I leave something there for them to repair, I highly recommend this place. They also have high quality audio for purchasing.

Great experience at this shop. I have purchased from them. I have consigned and sold through them. They have repaired equipment for me. They are very knowledgeable and seem to be solution oriented. I have grown to trust their advice about how to improve my collection and match different pieces to get the best sound. My wife has her favorite stores to shop in. This one is mine.

You reading this because you are looking for a place that can fix your vintage stereo gear? A place that can fix what they say? A place that will tell you exactly what is needed to fix your gear? A repair place that's will not charge you 1/2 of your monthly salary just to fix your vintage audio gear? In case you haven't notice: The LDL Vintage Audio Service provide FREE ESTIMATE, FAST DELIVERY. While most of other places in the Metroplex required a non refundable check out fee, the best you can have is they won't charge that amount if you buy the repair. Sound familiar ? (I had a place that intentionally destroyed my gear before released it back to me, just because I declined the far too expensive repair, which cost more than the good used same unit I can find on Ebay). And here is my experience with LDL Vintage Audio Service. My Cary SLI-80 Signature tube integrated amplifier keeps blowing the AC fuse. I searched the internet for a good local vintage audio repair w/o good result, there are not many places that repair vintage audio gear in DFW area nowadays. I luckily found the LDL VINTAGE AUDIO SERVICE in Garland TX by using Google Search. Per their website they can repair all kind of vintage audio equipment's: Tape Deck, Turntable, Tube amplifier, CD, 8 tracks player ... they service and repair many manufacturers audio product. My (Cary Audio)KT-88 tube integrated amplifier brand is included. I hope you will find yours. I called the LDL VINTAGE AUDIO SERVICE number (214)924-7710. I was lucky to be answered by the owner of the place. I described my amplifier problem to him. With a positive response he told me he can help. Even though he isn't working at the store that day, he gave me the address of the work shop where he is actually do repair for his customers. When I was there at his workshop, after a short pleasantry exchange, the man open up my amplifier and started checking the internal circuits with his VDOM probe. Watching the man checking out my amp, I instantly know I've found an expert. Not too long after he measured at several check points. I was told some capacitors were failed (leaking)and they will need to be replaced to fix the problem. I ask the man to go ahead with the repair, without asking how much it cost. I expected to leave my amplifier with him and to come back at another day. To my surprise, he did not say so, but bring out his supply, carefully de-soldered all the failed capacitors , and replaced them with 04 new ones, while I was standing there. . Next, he" test drove" the amplifier, played it loud on the shop loud speakers, I heard my amp singing powerfully and beautifully there. That is it. It's fixed. Needless to say, I was so pleased and impressed. Then I asked him : Why you replaced the bad capacitors fixed the blown AC fuse problem? (I was thinking about common possible causes of blown fuse : bad tube, bad diode, short to ground ...). The man took time explained to me that when those capacitors in good working condition it will keep the proper bias current of the system. But when the capacitor leaked, it allows too much current pass through the vacuum tubes it raise the current much higher than the system or the fuse can handle. The fuse will be blown. Ones might need to know a little about the vacuum tube to understand his explanation. But why I need to tell you this ? Because I want to tell you this man know really well what he is doing. Finally when I want to write a check to pay the repair ,because I don't have enough cash in my pocket, and I don't always keep plenty of cash anyway. The man told me I can come back later, anytime whatever whenever to pay for it, bring my amplifier home for now and enjoy it, because I am a senior, an older guy and he want to help. I wanted to pay the repair fee right away the next day but I had my brother came over for a visit. I came back to his workshop the very next day. It was the Easter Sunday, after church service, I paid for the repair with cash plus a case of Heineken beer. I hope you readers

Several years ago I took my sansui 9090db and one of my technics turntables in. The owner was very knowledgeable and explained the issue and fix in detail. We did a barter for the repairs, and a nice pair of Boze 901 series 5 speakers for some turntables in various states of repair that I had too many of. In all a great experience, he even loaned me an reciver and turntable to use until mine were ready! Don’t be fooled by the location,he also has a lot of cool /rare vintage equipment and speakers for sale as well.
