I took a mower machine for repair.. they try to charge us over 1k ...
Plus, after we pay for the diagnosis ..
They didn't put back together....
It was a horrible experience....

This place is old and a little bit rundown. The aisles are not organized effectively, items that should be in hardware are all grouped together, except for one single aisle at the front of the store, aisle 2 I think. Super hard to shop. I had questions about a certain color of a yeti, I was sent to the paint desk to interact with a gentleman who had a really hard time using the computer… in someways, it’s nice to feel like you are back in time at a small town hardware store, and otherwise it feels like they should progress a little bit The kid checking me out was nice but literally could not answer any questions.

I really like our Jabo’s Ace Hardware store in Hurst, TX. Yesterday I was delighted to work with Michael Finley. He listened intently as I explained the type of paint I needed for my kitchen cabinets and the floor molding. He was able to immediately assess what I needed and directed me to the perfect paint solution. I was grateful for his expertise, wide-ranging knowledge, and excellent suggestions. And equally as important, his gentle nature and sincere kindness made me feel like a very valued customer.
And all the while, Michael was constantly aware of other customers in the store, greeting each one and making sure they were quickly assisted by other store associates.

Great customer service. Didn't have the shower diverter valve I needed, but polished the old one and told me how to rebuild it.

I have been going to this Ace store since 1983. Always was pleasantly surprised at great service and customer service friendly people. Called this morning and asked for mower repair. Was put on hold for 11 minutes. Called back and explained if they don’t answer to please come back to me.Lady stated she had called several times and might not be able to get to me as she was working register. Was put on hold for 7 minutes and person came on phone, said Hello. I said hello thank you. Person put me back on hold!! I waited another 5 minutes and hung up.
Bought my last 3 lawnmowers and last 2 weed eaters from this store.
Please institute some kind of phone courtesy and response to customers waiting on line.
Even to come back and say something like they must be busy do you mind calling back in a little while
Anything but leaving customer feeling unimportant
The issue was addressed promptly. Mr Jacobs seemed genuinely concerned about issue and spoke to all his employees
I have called his store since his correcting and the phone service was considerably better.
