“Great experience. The staff were very friendly and the vet was patient with my little dog. They were super quick with the shots and made her vaccines simple. Prescriptions are super easy and they have reasonable prices. If you have a cat reactive dog I would just tell you that they have some vet cats but my buddy didn’t mind them. Overall this was a great experience and I’ll be back next year.”

“I've used this vet office for over 20 years. They are wonderful, amazing service and the vets always take time to take me seriously and to explain everything to me about my babies.”

“It was a very hard day for me. Any more you can’t find vets that are open on weekends. My own vet was closed & the vet off 190 in Livingston said it was open 8-12 but when I got there, it wasn’t. (A young man has his puppy who had Pavo and was desperate to get there as well, but they never notified online so it showed open, but it was not)
I was desperate because My dog had been diagnosed with a brain tumor that was malignant just two days prior and the vet said just keep her comfortable, but within those two days, her personality really changed a lot. I kept her sedate, but she was confused, disoriented, and I believe she had lost vision in one eye and may be hearing I could just tell by her reaction to things.
I called a vet in Huntsville Texas. They said they were too busy and I begged them to squeeze me in, but they said they were too busy. I am sad that although it does take time I would think A decent vet could squeeze in something as serious and difficult as a euthanasia.

Then I found the Walker County vet center who was open, thank God and they got me in 45 minutes later and it took me exactly 45 minutes to get from Livingston. I walked in the door and they were expecting me an usher to a room right away. The doctors assistant was very kind and gentle with my dog Birdy. Dr. John Pinard explained in detail the process and what the first injection would be and what the final ejection would be and I’m sure this was by design because the first injection being a sedative and a bit painful to Birdy. They allowed me to hold her and she calm down very quickly and they gave me 10 minutes, and that was a huge help to calm her and hold her for the last 10 minutes of her life before the final injection. She was very sedate and I could give her my last goodbyes in a nice quiet room, just the two of us. The final injection was not as painful to me as I thought because I had had the 10 minutes of her being calm and sedated To talk to her and say the last few things I had to say.

They are not my vets, but if I were lived in the area, they would be. It meant a great deal and still hurts today just Day later, but they presented her to me and a very nice bag, and they were gentle with her as if she were still with us and that means so much to me. I highly recommend this wonderful veterinary service.”

“I’ve visited 11th street Vet Clinic twice in the last few weeks. My first appointment was for a checkup and shots for my dog. The second was for grooming services. The staff was very nice and professional. They got me checked in and explained everything to me. I feel like they really care about animals by letting me know is breed specific things to look out for without trying to push me into expensive plans like I had experienced at some other places. Their grooming and boarding services were rightly priced and the end I was very satisfied with the end result. I definitely feel good having them in my dogs corner.”
