249 I-45 C, HuntsvilleThis was my first experience grooming my dog. I booked her appointment online and that was no problem and easy. However, I was given an approximate cost of $50 which I understand is due to Petco not knowing exactly the size, length of hair and etc. What they do not include for your information prior to your visit is an additional cost for "sharpening the scissors" ($7.00) and material fee ($5.99). It would be nice for customers to know about these extra fees prior to visting for a grooming service. I did not see this information on the site when I was making the appointment nor on the numerous emails and texts they sent me to confirm the appointment and make sure I didn't forget about it. They could use to be more transparent about their "extra" fees.

1705 11th St, HuntsvilleI’ve visited 11th street Vet Clinic twice in the last few weeks. My first appointment was for a checkup and shots for my dog. The second was for grooming services. The staff was very nice and professional. They got me checked in and explained everything to me. I feel like they really care about animals by letting me know is breed specific things to look out for without trying to push me into expensive plans like I had experienced at some other places. Their grooming and boarding services were rightly priced and the end I was very satisfied with the end result. I definitely feel good having them in my dogs corner.

My wife, best friend and I stopped in and got ribs, chicken, brisket and sausage plates to go. The smoke and bbq flavor were full of taste but not overpowering, perfect. The meat was tender, they were low on sides by the time we got there so it was beans and potato salad which didn't disappoint. The gentleman who cooked and served up the food was a nice guy and a joy to talk to. My wife and I don't live in Texas but the next time we visit our friends we'll be back.
