I had purchased a Speed Queen Washer from Otis Appliance some time back and just assumed that I was an established customer. I called on Jul 23 to get repairs done on my dryer. I was told to call back the next week. I called back and after a few excuses, I was advised that they could not help me since I was not an established customer. I have always been told to shop local and help the small business person in the community. I guess that does not apply here.

Paid good money for a used washer plus delivery fee. Delivery guy didn't want to hook it up, so being easy to do we said ok. Washer does not work. Tried phoning next day 15 times. Phone always said busy. It is saturday, and even though I left a message this morning, that wasn't answered, I now have to wait till monday and hope they answer the phone.They finally came out, and took machine back to store and repaired it. Works fine for now, but to sell a repaired working machine that does not work is not a good idea. Took almost a week .

I happened to go by there when they were closed. The owner was out front and his wife was inside. He asked me what I needed and I showed him a hose to our clothes washer that was leaking. He knew what it was immediately. He walked in and asked for the part from his wife. We got the hose at a great price (compared to what they wanted on the internet) and they had it immediately. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for parts or used appliances!
